Autos outdoors.

I was thinking about trying some autos outdoors in a pail. I have a zkittlez auto started already and germinating a canuk quarter pounder auto. I'm just wonder if they will stay true to their auto traits or does being outdoors affect them in any way? The quater pounder is an 10 to 11 week "fast flower" seed to bud. Will it stick to this schedule or will it get extended with the inconsistent weather? Also should I have them in a special medium or can I just run my organic mix I used last year? Thanks for the input!

If it’s an auto flower, then the life cycle is pre determined by its genetics. They flower between 3-5 weeks and can take up 10 weeks of flower regardless inside or out.
the fast flowering one wont flower untill you switch to 12/12 or if outside when the Outside light schedule comes back down to 12/12 be carful if you put a feminized photo period outside early thedays aren’t long enough yet and will cause pre flower. As for your medium. I’m not sure could/should be good. ? This will be my first year growing organic

Sorry but the fast flower is an auto too. It said 10 weeks seed to harvest. I did my first organic grow last year and it did well. I used a blend of sheep shit, organic multiblend and regular top soil. Great tasty buds and yielded well in the garden and pails. Should I wait a week for the photos then?

Where are you located? I’m in southern Ontario, unless it’s a seedling I start outside, I don’t move my plants out till Around third week of June. When days are getting at there peak. But autos I’ve got a couple I move in at night they’ll be done in next week or so
