Does anyone know what these brown spots are?

How's it going everyone! I'm about to transplant this plant into a 5 gallon fabric pot but I had a question about what these brown spots on the leave tips. Does anyone know what this could be? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Kinda looks like maybe a calmag deficiency?
What’s your medium/ waterin schedule
I'm using Fox Farm Ocean forest soil. I was using Brita water just filtered but now I'm using brita water with PH down with PH at 6.2. Just started using Fox Farm Nutrients. Introduced Big Bloom to the water yesterday.

Agree, I used rainwater and ran into this problem myself. Tap water isn't as evil as most make it out to be. Do you have hard water in your area? If not I wouldn't think you'd need to use distilled water. You can use an airstone to knock the chlorine out of the water which will leave any calcium/mag/iron in it. You may not even need the calmag depending on tap quality.

Ya my tap water is hard but i still use it, its at 200 ppms. But i adjust nutes a tad so i dont overfeed.

Op whats your ec/ ppm of tap water?

I ordered some cal/mag and it should get here tomorrow.
Tap water is 156 ppm
Purified brita water with pH down to 6.2 is 85 ppm
Purified brita water with pH down to 6.2 AND fox farm big bloom is 196 ppm

Be a good idea to post your journal in the forum, useful notes for you and one of the more experienced growers here are apt to point out potential fuck ups before they manifest and slow your girls down.

Sorry for being so late to the party.. but I grew ffof on my last grow and I’m using FFOF/happy frog now. The whole time I’ve used tap water with a good calcium content, and I’ve still had some Epsom salts every few watering. Seems to me I’ve been seeing a slight mag deficiency.
But yeah add calmag to your RO water

How do you create a journal for your grow?
