Blue lab ph pen dried out overnight!

So I highly recommend the blue lab ph pen. You want to buy the bluelab kci storage solution and blue lab 7+ 4 calibration solution brand. I love these ph pens, I have used them all. HM brand, cheap brands ect. All of pretty much worked good as long as you cal'd every week or 2 but the bluelab one blows them all away. Very accurate true readings and very fast. I've been treating the thing like a new Ferrari, keeping clean, capped ect.
Except the other night I was very tired after taking a bunch of cuts and watering plants. Meant to clean it but left it on the counter overnight, uncapped and fell asleep so it dried out. I just calibrated it and it seems fine, properly calibrated with the check mark. Cal'd to 7 then 4. Just wondering if it drying out over-night could mess it up or am I good? Like I said it did a proper cal-reading and before I cal'd, when I put it in 7 then 4 it read them properly. Sorry about the long post!

When I had the blue lab pH pen it mentioned soaking in KCi if it dries out before recal.

should be fine though. When they’re fucked they won’t cal anymore.

Ya figured it's fine, right when I noticed I left it out I immediately rinsed it off in put some more kci solution in cap and capped it. Think I got lucky. I just know they're super sensitive, people should know you never want to let a ph pen dry out, it can fuck them up, sometimes quickly. I have fucked up a ph pen in the past by letting it dry out.

Same. I’ve since said fuck it and use a dropper kit now lol. SERA make a great one and it’s the most accurate I’ve seen but it’s pricey for a dropper pH kit.

currently using the growth technology version. Pretty good.

Dropper to check ph would not work for me. My grow is to big. I have to ph upwards of 50 gals or more of water at a time. I have used ph dropper in past and found it to be a pain in the ass. Ph pens are definitely the way to go, you just have to take good care of them. I have 2 at my spot at all times in case one of them breaks, always have my back up in reaching distance.
