If you rely on stuff like that then you are setting yourself up for failure. IMO, as a new grower, you want to be hands on as much as possible, so you can see how things look when certain parameters get out of line.Yeah I am taking preventative steps to avoid as much mistake as possible. Like having a digital ppm, ec, tds meter that gives me notifications to my phone if it gets to high or low, my AC infinity fans got the monitors for the temperature and humidity so they can auto adjust, of course ill get another temp and humidity probe to make sure they are accurate. Also I am going to insulate this shed really good so I can control my environment much better...
I have an AC Infinity Cloudline T6 and, while I love it, the auto mode has a lot to desire. The issue is that you cannot set a minimum fan speed so, if your tent humidity and temp aren't too high, then the fan turns off until one of those two parameters are out of line. I have an email out to them asking if there's anyway to set a minimum fan speed to keep the fan on at all times but haven't heard back from them yet.
I'm not trying to steer you away from automation, completely, because I make a living programming automation systems, but you need to know how to handle things in case the system ever fails to do what it needs to.
