Hello my fellow green thumbs i am new to the site but not new to the grow game,i have however been away from the grow scene for some years now and trying to dig my head back into it,i have some girls going from bag seed and having some issues that i can't get a 100% facts on,i was having ph probs but finally got the water down to 6.0 from 7.5 but my meter still reads 7.5 when in the soil and don't want to diagnose wrong so looking for more info regarding this, the leaves are curling and turning brown and there is some kind of white fuzz developing on the bed of the soil that i looked into and don't believe it proposes an imminent threat and this is happening on nearly all of the plants,please let me know your thoughts.

Im running a 250w cfl and using 7-4-5 happy frog fert,intake and out take fans,nothing fancy but it works,humidity is pretty consistent between 45% and 50% temp is usually 72°f at night and 81°f during the day and roughly 2 1/2 weeks in veg.

Thats just a little container right? I’m not familiar with the happy frog organic stuff, you are just using water right now I assume, How often and how much do you water? Do you ph the water before, or is it chelated or something?

The grow is organic so the soil had very little nutes so i ended up feeding a very small amount of food shortly after they were moved to the tent and the day i moved them i gave them superthrive,they are in smaller mediums for now but will be transferring them to there new medium before 12/12,im using distilled water and i water when ever the pots start to feel light and i ph the water before hand,no chelated but there are microbes.

If that container is as small as it looks, it is prob root bound or close too it, being small prob not too hard to overwater but I would get it into some fresh dirt in a bigger pot and add perlite to get some air at those roots, assuming it’s food is there, it’s just not eating. The fuzz you mentioned, my organic soil usually had stuff growing on it, just make sure it’s not pests and the plant is clean as well.

Dang i didn't think it was to small,can i just give them some air with out moving them yet? I don't have room untill i can figure out the male and females,i grow enough to insure i get a descent amount of females but to many to transfer before im sure.

I know what you mean, I have some reg seeds in cups outside, want some cuts off a female. Do you have drain holes? Another good idea is to make little fabric pots from that landscaping fabric, good for making custom size or square pots. Would allow you to refresh some soil and add some perlite, but keep it small, great for keeping medium from being too wet. And cheap.

Ok i just moved the dirt around real good before they went to sleep,and they have only one drain hole but i just need a little longer,i have cloth pots and i love em but i don't have enough room for 9 lol and ill have to see if i can find some of that fabric,there getting close to showing there sex and im praying by this weakend i will be able to tell so i can go ahead and transfer.

Nice, unless someone else chimes in that’s maybe more happy frog savvy, still looks like a wet root, lockout or phosphorus issue, the leaf and purple stems tell that story. I assume being organic just make sure your soil ph is good and they should smarten up.

You need a soil probe for ph, it’s not the same as your pen style. That bulb on the ph pen is pretty fragile, if you stabbed dirt with it, clean it lightly and calibrate it. Soil probe, Walmart or any garden center.

Nah, these probes have all been trash for me. I’d go balls out and get the bluelab one. I have their pH pen and it’s bad-freaking-ass. Saving up to get the soil probe.
Test your runoff with a normal ph kit. 6 is easy to tell from 7.
If you’re using distilled water you’re gonna want to add a little Epsom salts to it for some calmag, I’m not sure if other organic ways for it.

I used ph down yesterday,the meter said 6 after it was said and done,i suppose ill need to test that run off when they dry enough to water again.

Hell yeah bro,i moved the dirt around real good before bed and i checked on the a little bit ago and boom,there standing on end happy as can be really appreciate the info,what probe to you recommend for the soil?
