Is this normal?

I’m growing white widow auto flower and I’m 46 days in and the lower pistols are staring to turn pink or red at the tips, is that normal? Sorry if It’s hard to tell in the pics

I've never grown autos, but I'm pretty sure 12/12 is ill advised. I think autos you want to give as much light as you can

Some autos carry through the pheno gene so sometimes you have to give it a kick start by switching to 12/12

After this “kick start” are you able to increase the light on cycle?? Everything I was reading indicated that 18+ hours of light was what autos really want?

I'm not 100% sure mate, I've never done autos before I've currently got 3 going on now just started but 18/6 is the best light cycle

Gotcha. I’ve never done autos. Been a little curious but I just feel like you give up all control growing autos.
 
I have grown autos for a few years an have topped an some lst an have gotten some good yields most was around 3oz dry here’s a northern lights I have going

.. should have left it as is ... autos are wired to run on their own time . Some autos sex out quick some slower. Auto on 12/12 is cutting its already short lifespan .

Autos are often overthought...
Autos hate complicated feeds , overwatering .
They are plug and play , they only need to be happy for approximately 90 days of life. This where growers step on their dick by “ pushing “ them.
