I’m bad for not researching much further then what I want to hear, only later to find out one feeds light and one feeds heavy. Use to pots so never really pay attention. Now I have 8 plants in one pot so I should prob start looking a bit harder.every grow for me is usually a different strain or multi strains in one grow.
Revisiting this because I have my RO water stockpiled and I want to do another drain and fill, question, do you think I should run a full one tsp of each, roughly 300mls by my calculation/water level. Or should I just do the 1/2tsp and full cali, anticipating flowering in 7-10 days. Also this amount is added in weekly? Or just maintain the original ppm and desired water level. I want to run this water for about 20-30 days before I go full flower. Is there anything to maximize the transition in dwc? I haves used all the fancy shit before in dirt, like bud igniter... Running Lucas, I would dose the nutes accoring to how much water i put in. Could be 2 weeks before more nutes.. might also be 2 weeks before i flower, just depends where the training is at, prob can’t hold off much longer then 7-10.
Sounds good man, thank you. I’m going to run the 3rd week for now and go from there. They will be happy with that, will up it to transition from there.Follow the chart I gave you homie
Ok, well that chart shows trans and bloom basically the same. I’m just doing the 1/2 tsp as we speak, will let that settle and see what the ppm is at in 20-30mins, double up..If you're gonna flip in a week, run transition or even early bloom recipe. I tend to always use a bit more CaliMagic throughout bloom.
Add some fresh RO. 800 is too high. Shoot for half that or at least 600.Topped up with transition amounts with a bit more calimag, hope that’s not a mistake right now. Ended up around 8-850ppm 5.8 is where we settled. Looks good to me, thanks again man, appreciate it.
Alright, it was the extra calmag and prob a little off on my base number. They should be ok for the night as I’m out of RO for the night. I was running about the same ppm on Lucas, will find out soon enough lol. Will bring it down to 600 in the am. Think a stealth Ro system is next, would make life a lot easier at these time.Add some fresh RO. 800 is too high. Shoot for half that or at least 600.
You filling up jugs at the store for your RO?Alright, it was the extra calmag and prob a little off on my base number. They should be ok for the night as I’m out of RO for the night. Nah, if you're going to add 20gal to get your system back to full, mix 20gal worth of nutes.I had it at half and decided to double to match my previous ppm, I will add as much as I can, might be able to squeak 20 gallons in and hope they drink fast.
Yes, I usually fill my 4 large jugs and fill my storage tank at home then fill them again at some point and store them, gives me about 55 gallons. I originally went against the Ro system and got a small boy system, it will be the pre filter to the Ro when it happens. Ended up topping off with the small boys and I left a good inch plus to my baskets,You filling up jugs at the store for your RO?
I actually meant 20L so I could add maybe 6 gallons not 20 and hit my baskets. Not sure how much that would drop the ppm, I’m guessing 100ish.Nah, if you're going to add 20gal to get your system back to full, mix 20gal worth of nutes.
Yeah man, I have a float valve installed, will prob grab the stealth 150 before next time, would of bought it, was ac/monitor/chiller, new ballast first lol. Have some new controllers on the way as well. Water was one thing I could hold off on and still get in the meantime. Now I need to get something to up humidity.Fuck that man, 55 gallons at 30¢ each is $16. An RO system on Amazon is $75-150. You are paying for an RO system within a few trips. Don't waste another penny on store bought and let's get you sorted.
Buy this and a float valve right into your 55gal container:
