Hours of light for autos

So I somehow managed to get a ton autoflower seeds and didn’t know what they were so now I have a few in my tent on 16.5 hours of light that are starting to flower. I am not flipping my 36 plant tent to 12/12 for a handful of autos I didn’t know I had. Will they still flower ok on 16 hours or should I figure a new spot out for them?

I think you have it backwards. Why would you put autos under 12/12? They will flower under any light cycle.
I’ve never grown autos. I didn’t even know I had them. I’m prepping to put stuff outside and got these from an old timer I know. Turns out he magically bred hundreds of autoflower and didn’t even know it. So now I’m gonna have to keep them in here. I didn’t know it was more efficient to flower them with more light.

Yeah man autos should flower fine even under 24 hours of light. I was running 20/4 and switched to 24/0 just to keep humidity from spiking and they're doing great.

Ok cool. I got like 6 of these sour diesel autos that my people somehow managed to breed but I also have 30 others that are photos on a set time to mesh with the outdoor time when I put em out. Just didn’t want to mess their cycle up for a few autos. Good to know I have them tho. I’ll pop some more today to put outside and get a staggered harvest this year

I run autos and photos together on 12/12 perpetually...and have for 15 years. no issues yet and don't expect any.

I’m putting my photos outside soon which is why I gotta keep the lights on longer to match the outside. Should I just move them to another spot where I have a 12/12 tent?

Personally....imho....I stopped moving my plants from outside to inside due to bringing in pests which is going to happen. My best growing is in an environment I can control more than outside. Pesticides are not an option for my grow. Growing in a tent is the best way to control environment that will increase quality and reduce possible hiccups from invaders.

I’m not moving them from outside to inside? I’m moving them from inside to outside. I just know it wouldn’t be smart to put an auto that’s flowering outside after being inside it’s whole life
