Microbusiness License Michigan?

Is this license legit? I'm reading more into it and really want to apply. It looks like its only $8000 for the intitial license fee and a $6000 application fee. And then the usual permits for building and equipment and such and then a yearly renewal based on your gross retail. Anyone have one? If I have the "money" would this be a wise decision as in choosing which license to go with? Thanks!

I’m in Alaska. I’ve lived in or around legal states since 2015. I recommend you find someone who’s already licensed at this level. Get as much information as you can about everything including costs to get as far as they have gotten. That $6K application fee - is that for fucking real?

For comparison a limited grow license in Alaska limits you to 500 square feet of cultivation area. Unlimited is just that. Grow 500 acres if you can. Limited is $1000. Unlimited $5000. Some requirements such as 24 hour video surveillance, property security, odor control and etc are exactly the same.

I have 3 friends running limited and several unlimited. The unlimited run their own retail as well and that license also a separate issue. The unlimited averaged $50K out of pocket before they germinate a seed.

Correction!!!!! The LIMITED license holders spent $50K. The unlimited obviously far more. No banking or bank help. Everything is cash. Including to the state for everything. There’s talk of using Bitcoin for payments to the state here. Congress needs to resolve this.

yes the application fee is 6k once to the state. The 8k is yearly to your local municipality which really sucks. The problem with this license is it is only 150 plants. Not as many as you can grow or some square footage. If it was 200 - 300 I could see being better deal but the 150 limit w clones keeping rooms going seems tough. If you could get a med Partner keeping you going with supply of clones and didn’t have to use your numbers for mother’s it could work.
