Hey I just transplanted and my plant seems to be dropping a lot rn. What should I do should I keep out of the sun?
Thanks man I’ll give it a try. Just a bit worried about the drooppageI usually keep transplanted plants under low light and a little bit more of a humid environment. I give them a few days to recover then I start bumping the light up in power.
Thanks man, appreciate it just a bit worrying to see droopingI have some plants I put outside in full sun during the day and when I transplant I put them back in the same spot without issues. Give them a good watering and make sure the pots are draining well, they should bounce back.
Ya I think ur right I just wanted to get it into different soil, it’s starting to do better now should be okay I was just anxious about itI transplant by up potting at least 3 times, and most plants 4.
I don't get this "drooping" plant thing. Yeah, I've seen it in some others operations but, I simply wait till the roots are starting to coil the bottom of the pot. Then you up pot.
Sometimes they coil a bit more then I would like. I simply take a blade and score an "X" on the bottom of the root ball, and up pot.
I have yet to get droopy plants, even after cutting the roots in that way. (BTW) That is an old school greenhouse trick to get the roots to spread faster..
I always use a simple water and kelp extract mix to the first watering at up potting.
I'll bet you up potted too early.... Let them roots grow out. All the way out, and then up pot.
