Used a humidifier, shitty blurple ufo, and home Depot bucket to make a sick clone setup. I drilled holes to allow airflow, and cut a section for the humidifier to blow through. Hopefully it works but at the very least it looks cool.

I mean I'm only using it for 14 days max at a time. I think it should be okay mold wise. Especially since it has good airflow.

shit grows like that -insert finger snap-
i’ve been battling with some kind of fungal blight using only a humditiy dome and it just happens over night. Well i hope you don’t get shit like that. Constant moisture usually fucks them up.

Interesting. I would get rid of those LEDs. Don't see why you would need those. Obviously everybody would think to just have stem exposed to the mist like an aero-cloner would be but I', excited to see what happens. I will laugh my ass off if they root like mad.

I like the way you think. Now I'm doing three clones with one stem exposed to the mist. I'm going all or nothing baby.

The design is now open air. I originally had the bucket closed because I needed to keep humidity up. I realized there's no need to have it enclosed now since it's constantly misted. Airflow should be much better now.

Update: I got really high and turned it into a makeshift aeroponics build. I never looked into aeroponics cloning until yesterday. Does it look correct? I have the humidifier set to half strength but I don't think I can put it on a timer.

I'm really sorry guys, I let you down. I got impatient with the bucket cloner and frankly bored with it. I only made the bucket cloner because the concept of it interested me at the time. I started thinking of new ideas as I waited and couldn't help but try them out. I built a bubble cloner with an old fish pump I had and some water bottles. The bucket cloner honestly worked great though, the clones stayed perky without any humidity dome and overall looked healthy. I transferred them to the bubble cloner yesterday and roots are already beginning to show. I believe if I left them in the bucket they would have rooted in the same amount of time. I like the bubble cloner better though because its lower maintenance, I had to fill the humidifier manually before. Thank you for your time and I hope I provided some useful information with this.
