Hi,

I'm slowly piecing together my grow tent. I have a decent sized tent at just over 6ft all around.

Would 2 spider farmer 4000's be sufficient for this tent? I'd like to get full coverage and grow at least 6 plants including a CBD strain.

You would need 3 of them. Recommended watts/sqft for those diodes is 32w/sqft, so you would need 1282W, and the SF4000 draws 456W. You may be able to get away with two but you won't get what you could get out of the plants during flower.

Its an odd size tent, there isn't really a single light on the market that would light it up sufficiently in flower.

Best off with 4 smaller lights.
Which is a shame because the lumatek is a nice light. They do smaller versions, think the lumatek attis is 300w , four of those would be good.

The footprint of the pros isn't great for that space. I suggest going to alibaba and getting four 480W kits from meijiu and dim them down to 75%.
Tring to make up my mind if I want to buy a smaller tent and stick with the lumeteks or keep the same tent and find 4 smaller lights. The reviews on these 480w lights seems great so far. Are those the best ones I can get for the money? I was looking at spider farmer sf 4000's too. Market is crazy conveluded which makes it hard to make a smart choice.

Appreciate everyone's help and feedback.

You should build some lights. If you are set on plug and play, then i'd get 4 of the sf-4000's or equivalent, and just dim them a bit

The dimming on the 4000 is pain in the ass. I like the Meijiu because of the price service, and the big thing the heat sink is 50% thicker than Kingbright or the rest of the china boards.

3500k or 3000k , I think that's my last question, thanks a ton for the assistance. :)
I prefer 3000k. I think unless you are trying to really limit stretch 3k is the best all around spec. Some argue different, the other thing is that their made a little different. The 3k with less of a phosphor coating I think is what I heard.
