Is that what you want to drill 1/2" grommets for? If so roots are gonna plug that up fast. For RDWC you wanna use bulkheads, like 2 or even 3 inch, with PVC pipe. Uniseals work too if you make perfect holes.

I agree with Renfro. 2 inch PVC with 1 inch return line is my setup, I used uniseal instead of bulkhead due to cost.

There is a lot of ways to set it up. I can't find a good diagram of how I would do it but if you click that link in my previous post it should show you many examples to get ideas from and see the basic idea.

Do you have some more pics from different angles? Your set up is great. I am working on one that has 4 5 gallon pails, what size res do you think would be suitable for it? Also is putting the res in an adjacent room a good idea for water temp? Any help would be great

The system is still the same if you add more buckets. As far as reservoir that depends on how high I have my water pump on . I would say a normal trash would suffice. I'll look and see if i have some old photos for you.
