Help me i have a huge mother and i just cloned her amd they all took she is growong to close to light should i trim her i only have 1 grow room

Oh man thank you so much now is it true to trim all the palm leaves a d crap off b4 budding i always just let plant be outside..again thank you
 
Supercrop your mains. Look at those long shoots and imagine turning them into a 7 shape. Like if I your branch is originally a l turn it into a 7 shape. You’ll reduce your height by about 30% and potentially get more yield. Literally just take the branches about 2/3rds the way up and bend them out words until they gently snap but still attached. They’ll grow a knuckle and carry on great. I had a 5 plus foot OG kush once and I bent that fucker In half at the base and it was one of my best plants ever.

Ties down the colas so they grow out more than they grow up. Like others are saying you want a wide flat bushy plant as opposed to a long slender tall plant. Only about the top 9” of cola buds get the most love from indoor lighting so train them to be short wide and fat.
 
I thought I had my monster (Red Diesel) under control, it outgrew the tent, so I had to buy it's own light and move it under the stairs.
I was wrong, a few weeks later it's over 5' tall. I just leave it alone now, it's beat me.

I had them 18 in aboce and it was bleaching it so i moved it up a bit i have a 400w hps (which i think is to much ) and it was hot to the plant i was worried about frying her so it seems to do best at about 25 inches away idk im new to this so all info is welcome.

Check this tool out man. It’s very useful. If you’re interested in this. Tell me and we will talk more. Simplified. Your plants want x light at x stages. This meter shows you what your lights are putting out at x height, and you raise (often lower) your lights to that sweet spot. Lux. What your plant takes in. This is a really useful tool to help you dial it in.

Could you tell me which place you would start trimming back do i do it where there is a set of leaves at ?
