Meh, it's fine. I know I do a little bit of agitating of others myself when someone comes off as a know-it-all expert, particularly when they start giving bad or dangerous advice to other new growers (or throwing insults to existing members).

I'll be finishing up a bit of work here, then I'm going to check on my outdoor gardens, then fishing. Weather is beautiful here this week 20C (68F) and sunny.
it’s been raining here a lot. I know it’s spring but damn bring on that warm weather!

same strain for a bit over 2 years. its pretty clockwork. takes a bit of adjusting whenever I add a new strain but they never match the quality an don't last more than 6 months or so. hopefully the seeds I got on 4/20 have some gems

you buy water.....? dude.... you know that shit is like free right? lol wow dude.
how much does it cost you to grow a lb? ive got my cost to about 120 all included
First it’s not free in California . Secondly I buy out of no choice. I’ve dealt with ph issues and tap water here is highly alkaline. While many plants I don’t care much about are growing fine, I have been feeding my valuable plants with bottled water. Again I don’t even drink myself bottled water so it’s not like I’m doing it because I’m rich, I just really wanted to give the beat of the best to these plants and it really upsets me even more that after so many efforts I still see some deficiencies

Here's how you entered this forum site on your very first post: "I'm an expert. I know everything. Nobody talk to me who isn't an expert. I know what I'm doing, and I'm always right. Can you help me?".

You set the stage yourself. This isn't high school kid. I already stated that you get what you give.

I thought you said that with cannabis, all you need to do is put a seed in dirt and let it grow?

But I thought you didn’t care about pH? Buying pH’d water is the same as a grower pHing their water so why are you making fun of those who do?

To those that are interested to help and asked before here is the information.
This batch I’m growing on lobster compost , first time but I think it’s much better than coco which I used for years. Then I feed it with ph neutral 6.5 water and tea I make from kelp, earthworm castings and lobster/crab meal. That’s pretty much all. I tried every nutrient that is out there for sale and did not like any that’s why I settled for soil. I think they get everything they need from what I feed them with that’s why I don’t know what to give anymore. I’m almost certain it cannot be calcium deficiency since crabs and lobsters full of that and really all other nutrients should be present in this tea.

BTW, a $10 bag of citric acid would last you years being used to drop the pH of your alkaline tap water. That’s a hell of a lot cheaper than buying bottled water.

its not the same, its retarded. but ya, I get ya
I said I don’t check the Ph! No need to make yourself smarter than everyone else when it’s clear and obvious how important Ph is! What I said was is that I don’t check it because it’s not accurate anyways ! Some of you really need to learn how to read so maybe you won’t have so many dumb smartass questions

Thanks for the advice! And yes I am planning on finding a replacement for bottled water once my plants will start doing well. I’m just so concerned to mess anything up right now

An experienced grower, such as yourself, would know that an accurate way to test the soil pH is to take multiple samples from the root zone, mix them into a slurry, and then test the slurry. But I’m sure you already knew that, since you are very experienced.

See, this is reasonable, informative and not off-putting. I will give you another chance here, and continue trying to help. What I request though is please lose the attitude of you being right all the time, and listen to what others are saying to you. We are all experienced growers, all of us with varying lengths of time in the garden, and we do really want to help other cannabis growers be successful.

You can take what you learn here, and further research it on your own to either confirm or eliminate the suggestion for yourself. That's what I do when I learn something new, and do nearly daily on this site. No more insults to those who want to help. Even the people putting you down (myself included) started reading this thread with the intent to help. Trust me on that.

Now, it seems to me that you could brush up on some nutrient knowledge. I'm furthering my knowledge on the same topic currently, but at a microbiological level which is a tad bit more in depth than you'll need right now.

Here is an excellent link that will provide you with a wealth of nutrient information all in one place. Under each nutrient is a button that you should click that goes further into that specific nute, and explains deficiency and toxicity. I refer to this page often. If this link isn't enough and you want more, just ask: https://free-the-tree.com/indoor-growing/marijuana-macro-micro-nutrients/
