Humidifier / vacation question

Going on vacation during the grow. Current humidifier needs to be filled daily. I do not have access to a waterline to tap into for an inline humidifier however can one be used with a pump to feed it or gravity feed? What are my best options on this? Feel free to be very specific. Thanks

Just forget the humidifier while you are gone. Plants can grow with low RH%.

If you want help feeding your humidifier, some pictures would allow us to engineer a solution.

Brilliant idea! smh
Trust me, not what I wanted to do. But promised the kids a trip to Disney. Was supposed to go last month. I’ll get a pic when I get home tonight. Without the humidifier my temps go to 85-90 and 25% humidity.

Fill 5 gallon buckets and set them out next to the plants, 25 % is too low. There are swamp coolers out there as well, but they need plumbing.Run fans pointed at the buckets and plants. A few strips of bed sheets will wick water up into the air flow. Check results before taking off.

I dunno if you have the space in your humidifier for a float but if you put a gravity feed float valve (it has the 1/2" male barbed fitting) in there and fed it from an elevated bucket with a 1/2" grommet on the side right near the bottom and a barbed shutoff valve stuck in there and then connect the two with a piece of 1/2" tube....

Thats one example of the float valve with 1/2" barbed fitting.

The ones with the 1/4" or 3/8" connection are meant for use with a higher pressure water source like an RO filter. That style plumbing requires the higher water pressure to "close" up the connections good.
