I am a new grower and I bought a bag of mg potting soil for my grow, and I’m planning on using the advanced nutrients ph perfect fertilizer (bloom, grow, micro) . I read through some threads on here and some people have used this soil with no problems, and some say it burns the plants and overloads them with nitrogen, and some say it causes nutrient deficiencies. I am unsure whether I should scrap the miracle grow and buy new soil, or if I can still use it , but with less fertilizer, or if I should wait until the plants have grown quite a bit until using fertilizer. Again, I am quite the inexperienced grower so any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

I would say to get rid of the MG and try something different. Currently I use Roots Organic and have had no issues at all. My plants seem to love it and i have not seen any evidence that there are heavy nutes in the soil to screw you up. Very easy soil to work with for beginners. Start off with Roots Organics Original, or you could try roots organics 707 with a little perlite mixed in to help water drainage.
