Help. I’m a new grower and my plants are just over 5 weeks. I water with ph 6.5 every 2nd to 3rd day. they are on a light cycle of 20 hours on and 4 off .The leaves are starting to turn yellow only on the bottom and fall off. But before all this I accidentally gave them to much nutrients feeding them 3 times in a row with it. Starting with a small dose and increasing it to full dose. Then they started getting nutrient burn so I flushed them and gave them fresh soil and since then I’ve just been water with ph water 6.5 for the last week. Last night on their watering I started giving them a small dose of nutrients again but the leaves where already yellow.

It's tough to tell how big that pot is but it looks small to me. How big is the pot? They may have outgrown the pot but again, it's tough to tell the size in the photo. I do see some dark green and leaf tips curled down, that is consistent with too much Nitrogen so that may be from the heavy nutrients you gave her. I'd recommend making sure you have plenty of room for root growth and continue with a balanced, low dose of nutrients. Make sure you adjust your ph after adding your nutrients. Make sure you let the soil dry out between waterings. You will know the soil is dry when the pot feels really light.
Right now they are in 3 gallon pots. Should I be going bigger than that to finish them off in?
Are you certain that's a three gallon pot? It looks a lot smaller than that. Are you sure it isn't three Litre (ie. less than one gallon)?
I will check for sure once they wake up what it says on the bottom of the pot. What size of pot should they finish in?
Depends on how big you let them get. I use three gallon pots. I veg for eight weeks, and I transplant from my starter pots to three gallon pots after three weeks of veg.
My pots are definitely to small. Will be transplanting then tonight into the proper ones thank you so much for your help
Wait until it's time to water to transplant. That way, the soil is relatively dry, which makes it a whole lot easier and cleaner to get the plant out of the pot.
Just squeeze around the entire pot to free the soil, turn the pot upside down, and lightly tap the bottom of the pot until the plant slides out.
