Mistakes have been made, how do I fix them?

Okay so it’s my first grow and I started my plants in miracle gro potting soil... (I know, I know). I ordered fox farms soil and was planning on transplanting when it got here, but there’s a pandemic so it won’t be here till May. With that being said, I will likely have to finish them off in miracle gro because I don’t want to shock or stunt them by moving them around too much. I bought additional nutes to feed them for when the time comes, but I don’t know when that is. Right now they’re all really healthy. But online, from everything I’ve read about miracle gro, I haven’t found an answer saying what I should feed them or when. they are still technically seedlings, but I’m wondering if I should be giving them anything else eventually. The nutes I bought are the fox farm trio. Any advice one what to do in my situation would be appreciated! I’m very new to this but only want to learn and get better.

Miracle is highly charged and can burn plants at times. It is also loaded with CONTROLLED RELEASE FERTILIZER which means it feeds every time you water. So if you dump more Nutes on this soil , then it can probably more problems than it’s worth.

Run them on water Only. For now.

So what about eventually? I guess I should be just watching the plants to see what they need?

That's exactly what you'll need to do. I ran into this last year on my outdoor grow-the only soil available was MG. Like CaptainShit(?) mentioned, the time-release nutes in the mix will carry the plant for a few months but can release a few nute bombs as the pellets dissolve. Live and learn.

So yesterday I also ended up having to transplant the babies because they started to put grow the pots I had them in. Now the leaves of one of them are turning yellow at the tips. Is this caused from root damage during the transplant, being closer to the light, or from the MG soil?

What did that big plant outgrow? I would still have that thing in a solo cup until fan leaves overlap the edges of the cup then into a 1 gallon pot for a couple weeks. See how it goes.

Which miracle grow did you get? Honestly, their performance organic soil likely isnt too bad for your plants if that's the one you got.

But I'd be careful with feeding, even if you did buy the Performance. Feed when the plants leaves tell you it needs something. Dont just arbitrarily start adding nutrients at a set time/date.

If it's any other MG brand soil, I'd look to transplant it, even if ifs not into foxfarm. You'd be better off getting a bag of topsoil, a bag of organic compost, and a bag of perlite (all available at the Lowes/Home Depot), and do a 40% topsoil 40% compost 20% perlite mix.

Yea.. I agree with Clumpy... you should be fine. You likely wont need to add anything aside from water for several weeks.

From what I can see, the Performance Organic doesnt have any time release nutrient pellets, so when the plant starts to show signs that it needs something, you should be fine to start feeding at 1/4-1/2 strength to see how she reacts.

Also, I dont think I saw you say yet, but what is your grow like? Can you give us details?
Tent size
Light type/wattage
Ventilation
Nutrients

All that info, will better help us guide you in the right direction to avoid future missteps

Thanks man! This is my first time growing. I have a 2x2x4 grow tent with all together about 100 watts of full spectrum LED (just ordered a better light, kind of started this up spur of the moment), I have a carbon filter and a fan, been keeping the temp at about 75 and RH at 70-75 while they are still little. And they are on 24/0 light, will switch to 18/6 once they are veg
