A plant that small in FFOF doesn't need anything but water even if it is RO water. Especially if they're in 25 gallon pots. FFOF has shrimp and crab meal. Both are very high in calcium so you don't need to add any. And just so you know CalMag is the most overused additive there is. People think it's a cure all and dump it their plants when it isn't needed. I've never used Calmag in life of decades of growing and that includes hydro, coco, and soil. If you feed a plant a balanced feed that contains everything there is no need for a collection of bottles of additives.

And yes neem oil will fry your plant if you apply it in too strong a dose. Which is probably what fried the leaves.

I would stop dumping gallons of water on that plant and let that soil dry out some. There is nothing using it. That plant is drinking nothing and doesn't have a developed root system. If you keep that soil too wet for too long it will go anaerobic. That pot is way to big for that plant. It's pretty fried maybe not even worth saving. I'd just leave it alone and see if it pulls through. No water except in small amounts around the plant when the soil gets dry, no CalMag, no Superthive, or anything else. That soil is wet enough for you to probably go well over a week before you need to do any watering. And then you don't need a gallon at a time. Dumping gallons of water on it isn't the answer. If the plant pulls through and gets big you will need to water a lot but not now.

And I'd chuck that Superthrive in the trash.

I've never used Monterey. I mix my own from pure neem oil. That way I can control it. Some of that stuff off the shelf ready to spray is formulated for roses and stuff and can be too strong for plants with delicate leaves like cannabis. Plus it costs ten times more.

It's never cause me any problems at least and since I don't smoke the leaves... I only spray in veg anyway. Not sure about your math. 2 tsp is max/gal with the real stuff. $10 for 50-70 gallons. Treats plants, gardens, landscape, pets and carpets when the fleas arrive.

I looked at a 32 oz bottle of the off the shelf Monterey. It's 0.9% neem so that would be 0.28 ozs. 0.28 ozs = 1.728001 tsp per 32 ozs which is of course a quart.

Just never picked a bottle up. Always grabbed pure or concentrate from the farm supply store. Mix your own if you can spell your name kinda thing.

Well now I'm confused which isn't hard. I'm looking at the label on a bottle of Dyna-Gro pure neem oil and the directions say 1-1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp soap per quart. I never use that much. But I never burn my plants either.

Just inexpensive water soluble dry nutrients broken into three parts. You don't need a dozen bottles of stuff and some feed chart to follow.

Everything needed by the plant is in these three things. Simple yet effective. It's what I've been using for years to grow healthy plants.

Those nutes and a 600 watt HPS light.

I've been considering switching from GH Flora to a powder for some time. Much more cost effective long term.

I mix my nutes in 15 gallon drums (one for veg, another for flower). Can you advise on how well the power mixes in? ie. will any/much stirring be needed before each use?

I'm limited to how well I can stir within the drums which is why I'm asking.

Put a pond pump at the bottom of the drum. Everything dissolves really easy. There is no problem with that.

I mix in a 5 gallon bucket with a small pond pump stuck to the bottom pointed up. I fill it about half full with water and turn the pump on. I dissolve each part in hot water using an old water bottle and pour them in separately one at a time. I let it mix for about a half an hour and water directly or pour into a reservoir feeding blumats.

Here's my high tech nutrient operation. I really do use an old water bottle. I keep the three parts in small containers because I buy them in ten pound boxes. Makes it easier than digging into a ten pound bag. This is what I've been doing for years. There's no need for anything more. I've posted plenty of pictures of my plants so nobody can say that what I'm doing isn't working. You should take a look at Jacks 5-12-26 or Masterblend 5-11-26. Either one of those used in conjunction with calcium nitrate 13-0-0 + 13% calcium and your good to go. Easy, inexpensive, and produces excellent results. Those formulations have been used for decades to grow healthy plants of all kinds because they have everything the plant needs.
