Hello everyone! Hopefully everyone is well and safe.
I’m growing my plant in ffof mixed with extra perlite and some doctor earth organic fertilizer powdered form. I’m growing indoors with temperatures between 68 to 74 degrees and relative humidity at 40%. Plant is about 6 weeks old. Water is ph 6.5. I water about once a week lately as the plant hasn’t been using as much water compared to two weeks ago. The plant was doing great until I noticed wilting that has been getting worse and worse. I’m certain I’m not over or under watering. The strain is peyote wifi by seedsman. Please see photos and give your advice. Thank you!

Have you checked the soil pH? I'm guessing you're pH is getting too low. Adding those organic amendments can lower it some, and it sounds like you're adjusting the water pH with pH down, which could be making it worse.

I have no idea your soil and ferts so i cannot talk about them but it is not ph, not temp(but 23-26 C is ideal), it looks like you have given it too much stress.. try to let it grow without topping.

When the medium pH is low I generally see darker green and the stripey burn pattern.

When the medium pH is high I generally see the lighter droopy thats indicated in the OP.

Sometimes though I am surprised and it's the opposite and I haven't figured out why.

He is growing organic and there is a fact that "The more organic matter in the soil, generally the less the soil pH matters as far as nutrient absorption. The natural process of soil breaking down helps make nutrients more available to the roots."
As we know that the plant is 6 weeks old and in 6 weeks, it is not possible for the soil's ph balance to get so far from the ideal level(unless extreme water ph), so we can sure that ph is not the main problem here.

You're funny man. You are half right though, lol.

This is false, I used to think the same until I got a soil PH meter. I found out pretty fast that most soils are not at the right pH for uptake.. Just because they put certain things in the soil doesn't mean the soil pH balance will be good.

Exactly. What soil pH meter did you get? I finally ordered a BlueLab that was supposed to be here yesterday, but now FedEx says it's gonna be delivered today, hurray.

I was under the impression that pH didn't matter growing in organic soil, but I have gotten wiser, lol.

I got the bluelab leap meter. I liked that you can replace the probe and it is easier to use. It takes much faster readings in liquid than my regular pH pen.

Update. It wasn’t the watering. It was, I believe, over aggressive topping and too much light if that’s possible. This is my first grow using cob lights and I had them turned up pretty high. Once I dialed back the light a little, things improved within about 5 days. See pictures. Do you think I can flip to flower based on the pictures? Also my first photo grow. I’ve always grown autos. Thank you all for the input as always. Is it possible to have the light too bright but no signs of bleaching or light burn?

Definitely aggressive topping cause too much stress and plant gets sick. Raising the light gives them a rest for healing and so it seems working.. I suggest you give it some more time to regain health.

Hate to bring up another topic but..... I need this thing out of my tent. I want to start my autos. Can someone let me know when it’s ok to flip to flower please. Also, for those that are interested, I got my light from DIY cob kits. I found him on here. Excellent customer service and very fair price. He even built the frame and assembled it as much as shipping would allow. Highly recommend him. I went from 2 viparspectra 600’s to this light and I love it!
