Cool, I hadn't seen this post, so those lil seedlings there, how much light are you giving em? You say 18" over the canopy of the seedlings and dimmed how much? Your plants looks very happy..thanks for your responsesListen ... drop to 18 - 20” over cups .. dim down accordingly . I run quantums and it’s not rocket science , having a dimmer setup allows you to “ stage “ it during grows. If boards are too high , seedlings will stretch way too much.
These are at 18” over canopy .... cups on a riser ...
no issues.

I do have a lux meter actually, they are all more or less at 10k lux, right now with the light at 48 inches away, i have a good a feeling about this amount lolCool, I hadn't seen this post, so those lil seedlings there, how much light are you giving em? The thing about quantums are they become “ more efficient “ at lower mid power levels. A lot of growers think you have to “ max them out “ and it’s actually the opposite. That is a 4 board with cob build and use a kilowatt plug to adjust power.Cool, I hadn't seen this post, so those lil seedlings there, how much light are you giving em? Very nice.. okay so I'm ggonna leave it turned down.. probably won't even need to turn it up unless I'm growing a lot more..guess the trick is just having em the right distance from canopy eh? Don't wanna waste power, thank you, ill probably go any buy a meter tommorow at the walfart.. heheThe thing about quantums are they become “ more efficient “ at lower mid power levels. Yeah 10k should get the job done. Personally I like to go on the high side but you should be just fine.I do have a lux meter actually, they are all more or less at 10k lux, right now with the light at 48 inches away, i have a good a feeling about this amount lol
Seniority? I've only been here a few years. But long enough to see dozens of trolls like you come and go.Listen, i know how this forum works and so the truth of the matter gets bottomed because of you stupid baseless seniority
Proof of troll.Screw you stupid well known member, well known by who, a bunch of pigs? Or gold fish?
Thats subjective. As much so as me saying proof of troll to the people who keep following you rating up your comments, i could call some of them your trolls.or trolls that rate up your stupid comments no matter what you saySeniority? Proof of troll.
Few years is still much more seniority above me, why you gotta be so immature and sway away from facts?Yep, another garden troll.

Dude I did not even know about this thank you! Just downloaded oneOr download a free lux meter for your cellphone.
Hell ya. All cellphones basically have a lux meter built in, we just need an app to access the shit. It's not gonna be as accurate as some expensive meter, but it gives you a good idea, and it's free.Dude I did not even know about this thank you! Just downloaded one
I often get bag seeds that are much more developed than ones i pay damn good money for. Ultimately the ones i pay good money for grow better plants but the bag seeds do start out really strong. Your looking pretty good so far.Good mornin everyone the light is doing pretty well on the lil seedlings, they dont seem to be stretching too much.. but we'll see as the day turns to night. Couple changes i made are that i turned the fans upwards aftee noticing one of the seedlings was starting to curl, thinking of placing the fans on a milk crate a lil higher up so they can gently whisp over the tip of plants.. im also learning how to water em, ive been using a spray but yeaterday i poured about 4 teaspoons of water phd to 6.5 to each plant, some of the bag seeds look so healthy i am very surprised... thinking of leaving one outdoorsView attachment 4535400
Thank you! That's great, now I'm more excited to see how these unknowns turn out haha, maybe these seeds have good genetics, glad i do have the ones i paid for there thoughI often get bag seeds that are much more developed than ones i pay damn good money for. Autoflowers STRONGLY prefer 18 to 24 hours of light per day. They also STRONGLY prefer to be planted directly in their final pots. At the stage you are in, seedlings do sort of stall out growth above ground but i guarantee you the roots are exploding.Good morning everyone,
I decided to get rid of 8 seedlings cause that is too much for my circumstances. The lights were off around 12 hours yesterday as my plan was to do 12/12 from seed with all of the 10 seedlings I originally had. Was thinking that this might affect the plants but I read that autoflowers (these two seedlings are Fugue State from Mephisto Genetics) don't mind light cycle changes so we'll see.. I had lowered the light a bit the past two days, but it seems it may be stunting the growth of the plants. They seem very happy, I give them about 3-4tsp of water and as a result the ones I plucked out yesterday showed nice fat roots..today I just put the lights back up to 48 inches and am looking forward to seeing them continue on their journey to flower!
