Dank seeds $18 shipping?

I was about to order from Dank seeds because if you order "there" seeds they arrive in 3 days...or so they say. Plus they take Venmo for a quick transaction. Then I got to check out and got hit with $18 shipping within the US. I thought that was way out of line for 5 seeds.
Is that normal for seeds?
Any review on Dank seeds. Specifically their brand of "dank" seeds as they have their own seeds among other suppliers

No Here is the link to their company. Not sure I should even give them exposure. I asked about payments and they messaged back same day. Then asked (nicely) about the $18 shipping and asked if they had a coupon code and never heard back...so I'm moving on from them

They are just middle man taking advantage of people's sheer ignorance.
It doesnt cost more than 5 bucks to fucking ship seeds even from spain it's 2.5 euros for regular letter.
All the local stuff is generic copy paste bullshit, you never know if the seeds are S1s from some slaves in China with STS. Nothing wrong with the seeds but dont pay $10 a seed that's stupid.

True When reading fine print it also states overseas shipment is subject to Customs with no reship if found very risky! The Dank line is the only one shipped from the mitten as stated. Just depends on what you are looking for.

When figuring out your cost, divide shipping $ by # of seeds and add that to the per seed price. Those $4 seeds can become $10 seeds in a hurry.

Supporting companies that do this encourages the practice. As always, vote with your dollars.

I noticed on 4/20, there were seed banks offering significant discounts, but then bumped their shipping costs up to more than cover the discount. I mean 30% off seeds is great, but when you go to spend $70 for $100 worth of seeds, but the shipping of 12 seeds comes to $38, WTF?! Not a chance in hell!

$38 (USD) shipping. For 12 cannabis seeds. From US to Canada. I LOL'd, informed them of my displeasure of their scam, and added them to the list of "never do business with".

^^Yeah, I'm used to Peak with free shipping or JOTI who, iirc, charge $5, and both have already reasonable seed prices.

HD is kinda dirty in that unless you specify otherwise, they charge you $20 for optional 'fast shipping', but they do have a cheaper option.

Dankseeds produces quality genetics of their own with 3 day gauranteed shipping on their own brand.. every bean popped and yeilded. Ive had 0 issues from this company they give 1 freebie per 5 pack and badass stickers. So if you get 2 5 packs for 45 and 2 freebies its basically 10 bucks a bean. Its definately better than waiting weeks... possibly months for your package to get through customs.
Also they have stopped offering their droppshipped products and is strictly dank brand only.

I don't grow stickers(which are merely free advertising for the company anyway) and I don't pay $10/seed, so this changes nothing for me.


Also, as a follow up to my previous post, HD will ship in Canada by regular mail, no tracking, for $6. You have to ask for it.

I used dank seeds last year. I wasn’t impressed with anything they had besides the gelato x Bubba Kush. Other than that crazy phenos. Lots of herms, and just overall unstable fem beans.
But they all germed fast and easy. They did arrive in 3 days. And shipping I think went up during the early stages of Covid.
And customer service was all on point. Again, I probable could have gotten u lucky with my phenos. But out of half dozen strains ( gg4, alien og, wedding cake, and more can’t think of em now) the only one I liked was the gelato cross.

To be fair I'm somewhat new to the seed purchasing world. I got 3 auto 5 packs off dankseeds . All grew up to produce a couple zips each, one started to herm in its final days of life. What prices are you getting? I cant find a website for less than 10 bucks a seed other than ones based in other countries.
I tried Nirvana at the begining of the covid charade and it took them 3 months to show up. They were alright.

Useful are $6 a seed. Esosseeds has cheap beans too
