Help with a closet grow

Closet is 24'' deep , 36'' wide , and around 72-80'' tall. (2 feet, 3feet, 6feet)

I'm thinking of a 400W hps for flowering in this closet. Dunno if that'd be too big for this closet.
anyways like I said its a closet in a spare room we dont really use much , there isnt much ventilation , so im just wondering if I keep the closet door open , and have a couple fans blowing the heat outta the closet, if that will be enough to get rid of the heat. The room its in has no windows tho , its kinda like a den type room. (room that the closet's in is around 12feet by 10 feet)
Im in an apartment , so setting up ducting to remove the air totally for exhaust isnt really a choice.

If that wont work , toss me some ideas. Thanks ppls , I'll be back in like 20 mins or so to check in if yas have other questions about the grow area.

well the good thing about bud is watever space u give it it will grow now u dont want to put i in a small area if u have that room to grow why put it in the closet? because your idea for leaving the doors open will work but if ur trying to hide the smell its not gonna be hidden with the doors open

400w digital mh/hps ,30w t-10 uvb, 4 LED panels.
If you can't run ducting then the only way you are going to be able to run a 400 w in that small of a space is if its really cold at night, then you can grow with the door open, but it may be difficult to sleep with it so bright. you need to get the light as close to the bud canopy without buring it, which will be touph to do without ducting.

yea, being in an apartement building sucks... the extra room is only being used by my computer, no one is sleeping in it , so its not a problem with it being bright. I just dunno if its gonna work because eventually , even with the closet door open , the entire room will probably get pretty hot id imagine ?

also , where can u buy those LED panels

Grow in a dresser you cut out holes and run ducting, thats what i do. i am in the same type situation.a 400w won't get a whole room hot, not this time of year. If you ever need to crack a window just do that, plants Love fresh air. and you don't need to worry about smell too much with just a couple plants it won't get out of control. Grow a strain without a lot of odor like northern lights or something like that. My plant can smell up the room i'm in towards the last few weeks it gets strong, but never my whole pad.

ya im not too worried about the smell , all u can smell in the hallway is weed cuz a couple of my neighbors smoke haha.
Ima give it a try , hopefully if i keep the closet door open and the bedroom door shut it should be big enough to take the heat from the 400W light.
hopefully...

well if your gonna leave the door open then its not stealth, so then why not just move it out to the main room an grow if smell isnt an issue for you.

you could just try venting the closet to the larger room and see what your temps. are.

the smell of a grow and smoking it smell different to me.

a 400 Watt MH light is good for 9 square feet. ive got three fans(one blowing fresh air in, one from abov blowing air downward and one blowing air out from bove) in a much larger closet than yours with 400 watts and not once have i seen temps lower then 89

i grow in a small space with a 400w 2x3x6 and my temps stay between 72 and 82, plus i'm running co2 the whole time the lights are on. my grow cab doesn't even have an exhaust, only my light hood does.

I was gonna use cfls to veg, and then my 400w hps to flower. I have like 5 feminized seeds left over.. so maybe ill just try this closet out with some bagseed and see if the closet is too hot.
