New and need HELP.

First off Happy Easter from our family to yours.

And now to my dilemma.

I am going to start a grow for 1-2 plants in a room dedicated for it. (16x15). I have decided to use DWC hydro system. i have so many questions on nutrients , what to buy, how to use? But my biggest concern is what light to use. Im leaning towards LED but only because they seem affordable on amazon and have decent reviews, as far as good growth throughout life cycle and nice buds. I would like a light i could use for both veg and bloom. but if i end up going old school and using mh/hps ill be ok with switching lights and/or bulbs.
So.. what light should i use for my small setup? budget is 250-400$ maybe more.... an example i was looking at on amazon is visparspectra led grow lights... seems cheap but the reviews arent too bad. Any help is greatly appreciated on this journey of growing my own bud for our family!

Look at HLg, amare, diy strip build. Those cheap amazon lights are a waste of your money you would almost be better off using 100 watt replacement led bulbs for your grow

What kind of space would you like to light? Is your climate in that room coldish during winter?
Will you be growing in a tent or an openspace?
Do you have height restrictions?
The amazon lights are exactly what they look like: cheap and shitty. Nobody around here grows with Vipar...

Well i have finally made a decision and will be making a purchase this week. Ill be buying the BlackdogLED PHYTOMAX2-200 , its perfect for my small grow and appears to be and by all my research is great quality. And they have a 20%off sale starting the 17th .

DO NOT BUY THAT FUCKING LIGHT.
It's is SO OVERPRICED for what you get. Holy god, I'm glad I saw this to save you the heartache you'd feel later. Do Not spend your money on that light. DONT DO IT!!!

What size size is the area your plants will be in? Let's get that info so we can get you what you need for a 1/4 the price.

I dont have a tent, ill only be growing one plant, maybe 2. its a 15x16 room ill use only for growing, just wanna start with 1 for now

Just get a light off Alibaba for a 4x4 so you don't spend a ton bit have lots of room to upgrade. They all dim. Here's some great examples. But whatever you do, don't buy that metal box with fans on the side. It is such garbage man. I can't stress enough the scam that is Black Dog. Not a single person will disagree with me.

Airwalker is right, anyone here will tell you that light is a huge waste of money. Seriously, there's tons of knowledge and experience here.

SIX HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS for 200watts of readily available diodes. It's actually insane. Worse than KindLED EVEN!
