Curing room temps skyrocketed!

I had an issue with one of my AC units and the curing room was getting in excess of 90 degrees during the curing days, I cut the cure to 5 days and began to trim and jar...the bud is still spongy and has no smell..HELP! What can I do to get any smell and the texture to harden up? I have been burping these jars for 8 days and no luck with the smell...is this fixable or did I mess this up beyond repair?

TBH 5 days of heat didn't take the smell. Wet nug doesn't have the smell and it returns when dry enough. So if the smell doesn't return when dried you chopped too soon. I have had bud in a hot 85 - 90F room for a month and it still reeked.

using hygrometers you can check the relative humidity of the jars and let them air out to get the humidity dialed in. A good hygrometer is the inkbird its like 10$.

Hay smell can be early harvested bud, or too dried/ too moist bud to the jar. If jarred to long everything goes to shit so its nice to have some hygrometers to learn with

I picked up some of these and had good luck with them, a few were useless, Ive been told others had less luck than I. It's handy though since you don't have to open your jars to get a reading and they are cheap so you can use them in all your jars. I would probably buy 3 or 4 sets, pick out the accurate ones and return the others LoL.
