11 Plants in a 4x4?

Get those seedlings out of there and keep them just above dormant until the larger ones are done, that's the best answer I can come up with, otherwise your flowering 11 in a 4x4. I'm not sure what your confused about. You can keep them small in a small space with lowish temps almost anywhere. Shes beyond the beginning at this point.

Then plan small. Co-ordinate four plants in a 4x4. Years of experience will lead you to one result or another, I'm just getting you there faster.
VIn practice my 4x4 spaces were more productive with fewer older plants than a carpet of budding sticks. Food, light, temp and Co2 could have altered them in my favor. Grow longer in veg. Trim from your 4th node down in flower.

This is my first grow so I don’t have experience. I was just worried about the space.

Your concern and forethought is great to see, I wasn't coming down on you just trying to get you out of a pickle. Good on you for asking, you'll end up with something decent instead of a messy nightmare.

I've got 6 in a 2x4 ...... that's at least 2 more than really fit, the lower leaves are dying because of no light.
Two of the plants are massive ....... Just bought another light so I can move the two big ones out.

I really wouldn't try and fit more than 8 in a 4 x 4 tent.

One auto is 5 weeks into flower ....... other five all vegging (18/6).
Odd how when you start growing in a tent the space looks really big, then suddenly the plants are pressing against each other and almost as tall as the lights ......... it's like ..... how did that happen?

You could get away with 4 5 gallons in a 4x4 tent, so I'd say you could get away with 6 3 gallons mabey
I run 3 gal plastic nursery pots. 6 flipped at 30-36"'s averages 4-6#s with defoliation. topping, and training. 3-5 months training.

Your moving in Oct so that gives you roughly 170 days or 24 weeks. That gives you 10ish weeks to finish the current ones, harvest and veg the second smaller plants for a month in your main tent and flower for another 10 weeks.

Contrary to popular belief I do defoliate autos. Just very slowly(4-8) leaves per plant per day. Always from the bottom up. It increases yei

I don’t know how you all can do that many in a fairly small tent while still clinging onto your sanity. The most I’ve done in my 4x4 was 6 plants and I dreaded having to do anything with the plants in the back once I had a trellis in place. Since then I went back to 4 plants and just veg them longer. I love how the tents look when they are filled with plants that way though.
I'm the same Charlie...I begin panicking when my rooms get overly crowded.
I always have to watch for damn pm...my flower room is a wind tunnel with air movement, exchange. But....
Paranoia will destroya lol...Ima scairt! Lol. Definitely anxious about doing techniques like scrogs due to the tight canopy. Sigh....

I’m about to ditch the trellis I built, because I don’t like not being able to move my plants once they grow into it. I think I might go back to using 4-6 stakes in each pot, to help support heavy branches, so I can at least slide pots around more easily to reach things and keep the floor clean.
