Should I throw in the towel on this one?

Appreciate the answers on my previous post, but wondering if I should give up on this guy. It’s now 9 days post sprouting and has 1 full set of new leaves and another tiny set. It’s maybe 1.3 cm tall in platform shoes.

It doesn’t look unhealthy to me (granted first grow so what do I know), but at this pace I feel like it’s defective and I should start over. At what point do I give up and start with new seeds? Am I just being too impatient?

Give as many details about your grow as possible. Pretend we have NO idea about your setup.

Thanks for the replies. Yes feminized seeds growing one as an experiment before I expand to multiples. It’s a gelato auto flower.

I’m still leaving this in the additional rapid rooter. A few days ago it was suggested that I move it to the medium. I was a bit afraid to because it was growing so slowly and originally sprouted upside down with the taproot and an offshoot growing above the rooter. Had to cut it open and move it to a new rooter. I was concerned about stress.

Right now it is in a 3x3 tent. Exhaust fan, 2 tornado fans, humidity controlled with an inkbird and humidifier to 60%. Temps have run between 70 and 80. Using a 1200 watt led blurple (I know but it’s 1 plant and was cheap) light is about 20 inches away on a 19-5 cycle. The 19 was for aligning with my schedule. I was giving plain phd water at about 6. Rooter is moist not soaked.

Yesterday I gave it very light 1/4 nutes in distilled phd water (0.5ml floramicro floragrow, flora bloom in 1 gallon). Got a bit of growth on those new leaves but don’t think the pace has changed.

It is very possible I’m just neurotic here, but I feel like I’m raising Tyrion Lannister.

Autos tend to spend the first few weeks developing roots while the top side activity bores you shitless. Be patient and let it do its thing.

If it gets too boring set it aside in the tent and start another to keep ya busy. Give it a chance, it may explode with growth you never know.

Give it time, its not a race, every grow is different and your plant will grow long as you give it what it needs, but in it's own time. Patients

Definitely trying. Saw a bit of growth overnight and roots started popping out. Transferred to my ebb and flow medium this afternoon. Feel better about it today.

Ppm 114 ec .25 using distilled water as a base to start. ph 5.9 humidity 61%. Feel like the basics are in place. Crossing my fingers that it’s not pissed off about moving day.

Also wonder are those numbers too low for tds ec? Assumed if I started with distilled I should adjust the targets accordingly.
