Just a little discussion here for commercial operations. Has this event affected how you do business with others? Growers to Dispensaries, Processors, etc?

Word on the streets here is Dispo's are offering curb side service, only letting 1 person at a time in the Dispensary. We handle money with latex gloves, and masks are being used as well. Just dont be a dumb ass and lick your latex gloves to count the cash!

I'm not in the industry, but I'm sure it has hit MA dispensaries hard, becuause hte state shut down all recreational sales to keep people from other states from coming here and overloading the dispos during all this.

Business as usual in Oregon with curbside deliveries.

Back in the day when someone handed you a bag of weed through your window and you gave them cash you could end up in jail. Now it's sanctioned by the state. I don't see Oregon stopping marijuana sales as they get a good chunk of money through the taxed sale. With the bars closed they're missing out on the video poker revenue so they definitely are not going to do anything to stop the marijuana taxes they collect. Oh, for the record I don't buy from the dispensaries so I'm not affected by any commercial disruption and never will be.

I was in the grocery store the other day getting some produce and saw a lady licking her fingers to get those flimsy produce bags open. I felt like saying something but chose not to. People are on edge and the last thing I needed was some lady telling me to mind my own business so I just walked away while she licked whatever germs were on her finger from touching things in the store.

In Oklahoma the Dispso's are considered "essential", just like the pharmacies, so they are not being mandated to close up. The State has collected like $40M in fees and taxes in the first year So, you know they aren't going to stop that cash cow train.

The action will permit retail licensees to take orders and deliver product from the retail store to a person who is outside of the store and within 150 feet of the retailer’s licensed premises.

I have no idea.. It's stupid. They are saying that people can be infected and not show symptoms, but are still out and about spreading the virus.
The problem is that there isn't testing available for most people so how do they even know they're positive? I felt sick last week. It went away in a couple days. Was it Covaid-19? I have no idea. Am I carrying it? I have no idea. South Korea was able to test more people in a day than the United States had done in a month a short time ago. I want to know why there were not testing centers setup with enough tests for everyone. Other countries were able to do it. Everything here is profit driven and they spent more time arguing over who got the contract and how much profit they were going to make. In the meantime people are not getting tested and are out in public spreading the virus.

I didn't know people still used cash. :bigjoint: I haven't even been inside a bank in over ten years. The last account I setup I did it online.
Unfortunately, this is an all cash business. Even large sales are all cash. We just have to ease small deposits in the bank to avoid red flags over time. Especially in between harvests. It's our "payroll"... gotta get it in there somehow. All the banks lobbies are closed until further notice, and they just have the drive through open... which is ok with me. I wear latex gloves at the deposit window. I just drove by a couple of Dispos.. looked like a ghost town.

There is 1! person that has tested positive in my county. They have been seen at gas stations and of course walmart. They should be in mandatory quarantine
We have 6 open cases in our County... no deaths reported as of yet. I just went through the CVS drive through, and they don't have a single bottle of hand sanitizer, and some of our essentials are not available at Amazon like 90% alcohol, latex gloves, etc... fortunately, we stocked up hard about a month ago.
