Grew black domina years ago and off memory it had a bit of stretch, nothing crazy though.Got afghan kush early harvest growing now. 2 have short leaves and one long. Thinking afghan kush( not early harvest) or black domina. Anyone know the stretch on black domina?
They're sleeping til around 2, when the light come on I'll grab one or 2!Got any pics?
very nice!It sure does.
I grow 2 dozen strains at a time. I couldn't do that if they grew out of control. Now I do have one strain that will grow very tall in a 3 gallon smart pot outdoor. But that's rare. But when I grow her indoor I top her twice to keep her at very short. That should work outdoor as well.
Here she is. (she's an auto). With this one I keep it in a 1 gallon pot to make sure she stays small. The one on the far left is 6'. These are 3 gallon smart pots. A 'normal' flower pot would also help keep it short.

btw, this is a sativa.
Impressive man!Nope. Just a bit of triplemix and a scoop of compost. They were foliar fed once a week.
I've seen root in coco that were amazing.Impressive man!
Roots can grow huge in a small amount of coco.
Even more impressive being that size in 3 gal containers with no coco I think!
Yea for sure! All these babies except 2 were grown in 5 gallon fabric pots, 100% coco.I've seen root in coco that were amazing.
The smart pots allow roots to air prune so the mass can be substantial.
God damn.... fantastic job!Yea for sure! All these babies except 2 were grown in 5 gallon fabric pots, 100% coco.
Got just under a pound a plant from a couple of the 5 gallon girls with about 2 months veg.
Photo taken during stretch, so got bigger than here but didn’t notice a lot of difference in size from a 15 gallon pot and a 5 gallon. 3 months veg would of been a different story I’d say lol.
If anyone says you can’t get a pound from a 5 gallon pot, I say bull shit lol.
Haha, thank you!God damn.... fantastic job!
Now I'm motivated to learn how to crow in coco.

Mine are nothing to look at after those backyard beauties, but it's my first grow, so I'll take it! You can see the lower leaves that got hungry when I accidentally only mixed half nute strength (No, you're high). They have since perked back up! You can barely tell the difference between pots in the images, but the smart pot one is the taller one that looks a bit further along. I really love how it's starting to smell a little bit like applewood or something. Can't wait to do one up with some proper lst and bigger pot, she will me a very stout bush.Got any pics?

Don’t top them just veg for longer and train them I’ve topped before not worth it better off getting cuttings in my personal opinionNice job for your 1st grow Rsawr!
Consider topping on your next grow and vegging a little longer.
Yes, in the message I typed with the images I mentioned trying lst next time. I am probably going to do that lbh method which does top at least once. I likely will keep it to once, and just pin the branches to give more room. I am super excited. Only reason veg was so short is that my foresight told me to flip at the beginning of the month when USA got its first covid cases. I am higher risk than most folks, lower than others, but last thing I wanna do is go to a dispensary full of old folks with weed cough right now! Running out of medicine for my pain is not an option, so these ladies will get me through a few weeks!Don’t top them just veg for longer and train them I’ve topped before not worth it better off getting cuttings in my personal opinion
The deceptive part of topping is it makes it seem like your plant isn't growing as fast, when you dont top most of growth goes into one single cola. When you top it splits the resources amongst all the tops but your still getting the same amount of growth it's just distributed evenly.Don’t top them just veg for longer and train them I’ve topped before not worth it better off getting cuttings in my personal opinion
