Wait what? Thanks man. More people are reaching out that don’t want to argue. They just want to share info. It’s sad we have to do it by PM for risk of getting into this shit. Defols are just more chill.
So, what you are saying is that there are more people who don't understand what defoliation actually is, and they are sending you PMs to tell you you are correct?

If you prune that shit out and the plant grows bigger tops, nothing is wasted.
I honestly don't know if I believe that. I've chopped them, and I've left them, but I've never noticed a difference in the size or weight of the canopy buds. I might be more on board with that if I could find actual written evidence of it, but the fact that the lower larfy buds grow so slowly leads me to think that removing them probably effects the upper growth a lot less than people claim.

Defoliation
remove leaves from (a tree, plant, or area of land), for agricultural purposes or as a military tactic.

not seeing the word mass or any number in the definition

feel free to change the definition they way u see fit to feel better
There is no need for that negative aggressive attitude towards him because he is correct, in grow terms defoliate and prune are two different terms. used widely between growers.

Thanks for confirming you are just a troll that likes to argue. If I have no idea what they were trying to say then I'm sure you don't either. 3-29-2020 2-34-53 PM.png

I’m saying cutting your plant is cutting your plant. Not sure how else to say it. The other guys with not touching it, they at least are taking a firm stance. Agree with them or not they aren’t touching anything.

Don't waste your time with them. I tried to break down the definitions with arrows and they still refuse to accept that defoliation has a clear definition.
