First time harvest.

Just thought to share my progress on the harvest. Was a 10 week Veg and 9 week flower. A few bumps along the journey but far as I can tell seems to be ok. Wondering what everyone thinks of hanging the full plant? Seems like these ones have large stocks for the amount of bud and could be a prolonged drying time or is this ok?

Hang them whole...you will be glad you did.
As smaller ones dry you can remove, or buck all stems after a few days into paper bags, lots of choices.

Ok glad to hear. Seems easier to hang the full plant too. Im assuming drying time will take a bit longer with full plant hang. Reading up to 14 days. Rh is set at 50% and temp is 70f.

Hello, looks like you got a good harvest. Mind if I ask if you have a dry weight yet? And what size tent with how many sf2000? I just picked up 2 of the sf2000. I have them both crammed in a 2'x3' tent right now lol. I'm thinking a 3x3 or 3x4.

Thanks. Not sure of the total dry weight yet. Just working on the curing. I will prolly weigh it all up today if I get bored. Guessing around 1.2 lbs. I used a 4x4 tent for a short period then built a 8x10 grow shed. In the 4x4 I ran 2 SF2000 and in the 8x10 I had 8 SF 2000.

Well keep me posted on the dry weight! Congrats man. I'm happy to see a thread with someone else using the same light as me. All in all did you like the lights?

Well the final weight was 1.5lbs. I’m pretty happy with that for first grow! I let two of the plants hang for only 2 days and harvested them somewhat damp. After trimming placed them in jars. The humidity was climbing up to 80% so left jars open and shook up buds and aired them out multiple times daily. They are now sitting at nicely in the low 60% after fives days in the jars. The other four plants hung for 5 days and they had turned almost to dry/crispy. Placed them into jars also after harvesting and the Humidity after a day was still in the low 50%. Placed a little tiny piece of moist paper towel in the jar for a day and now the humidity is sitting At 60%. No I’ll just monitor them for next week or two while curing maintaining 60% in all jars.

Really good job for your first grow. But I would trim up those buds a bit more, looks like it still has a decent amount of leaf on it. And what will you be doing with the sugar leaves after they dry? Me personally I would make dry sift hash or bubble hash then press it into rosin.

Thanks. Yea I was thinking of trimming them back more, but so much trichomes on them. On the plants that I wet trimmed this was not an issue. It’s on the dry trimmed ones that the leafs curled in and tricky to clean up. Yea I saved all the trimmings too. Not sure what to do with them yet.
