Decided to start up a grow journal for this strain. I noticed there wasn't much on this rare African Sativa so I figured I would document the entire thing.
Typically this strain will have what is known as THCV. It is a very unique cannabinoid, look it up on google if you want to know more.
So far all I have done is germinated 6 seeds in 1 gal pots and topped. This is where I will start the journey with all of you because lets face it... its seed germination, we have all seen it.
Currently I am growing all of my plants completely organic. Using 3 tbsp per gal of Mother Earth Coco/perlite blend. with the Down to Earth 4-6-2 blend. I like the 4-6-2 for the extra P during beginning to middle stages of veg.
A couple things to note about these plants as the grow starts.
1. I will need to flower when the plants are young for a couple reasons. First, these plants will be very tall when finished.. some could reach 7-9 ft in height if not controlled. So I will be strategically topping and using SCROG to train these girls.
2. While this is a normal grow to me, I am pheno hunting this strain. The problem with this plant is that it will most likely be a 14 week flower. These seeds are not feminized so Im hoping 2-3 of them of female.
3. None of my African Black Magic seeds are for sale and I will not be selling any clones so please do not ask me. This grow is strictly informational on a pretty unknown strain.
That being said I will post as many pictures as I can as I update this thread. I should be updating weekly unless something changes
