I’ve heard this is not good for the buds. I’m interested to see others opinion. Good post.Anyone still do this? Just took a pound off the grow rack and started the cure in the paper bag. 4 days in here then 6 weeks in the jars.
I am beyond bored with lock down BS so i thought i would try itI’ve heard this is not good for the buds. I’m interested to see others opinion. Good post.
Oh its cool bro. My older friends swear by it. Something about pulling moisture out of the stem. Never tried it before.Hey I’m new I wasn’t judging I’m going to watch and see what people have to say.
This is my first attempt and i am going to try it your way brotherYep paper bag after a proper hang dry gives great results!! I strip the fan leaves and do usually 7-10ish day hang on whole branches. When the stems snap and the very outside of the buds feels slightly crispy but the inside still feels soft i buck them off the stems and into the paper bag for another 4-7 days usually giving it a shake daily to keep them mixed and allowing the moisture to redistribute through the buds. Then when it’s ready to smoke it gets a final trim and goes in bags to sell or sometimes jars for storage but it usually doesn’t stay around that long.
Don’t worry about damage or about being gentle guys. I intentionally shake my buds around in the paper bag to stir them up. There is never a big pile of trichomes at the bottom. Are there some, sure but nothing worth being concerned about.

Is there a limit on how much i can put in this bag. There is a pound in there now@Thundercat method works great. That's the way I do it as well. Hang dry it, put in paper bag to finish off drying, jar it. Ready to smoke. I don't have time for all the convoluted methods using hygrometers and burping jars five times a day. Waste of my time. My weed smells and tastes great. Everytime.
