this is just the start, right? refugee camps and favela type poor are gonna get hit so badly...
Indeed. Our new cases numbers hasnt seen any decrease, it seems based on how many we test. Italy the same. US seems to still be in exponential growth. Only the chinese have managed to curb it.

I for one am starting to understand why they put people in prison, it makes you wanna go out for a walk. Hope everyone is keeping safe.

hmmm yeah i agree, i was shocked at what China did to its people a few weeks ago, which is saying a lot...but now it looks necessary. My mate went back to Shanghai last week, he's in home quarantine. i asked him if ppl were worried about a second wave and he said yeah...i think they had 78 cases again yesterday.

The scariest part of the entire situation is the number of people with the Covid-19. Spreading it to the masses, and don't even know it. I see these instagram posts of these stupid ass young white thots at concerts and raves and Shit like they could care fucking less. Makes me sick.

Young people often can't help but be stupid. Wisdom requires time and experience; here's hoping their stupidity doesn't deprive them (or any around them) of the chance to gain that time and experience.

The UK slept too long on a lockdown. the youth have been stupid but a better government wouldnt have given them a choice
My oldest daughter just came back from the UK - with her English fiance in-tow. They arrived here in the States on March 11th, and just days later he found out that his Dad came down with the virus. Tough time to be abroad and away from family, poor guy.

thats the thing, more and more this is hitting closer and closer, weve had the ambulance taking out people on a stretcher a couple of houses down on our street.

Away from family? Thats another aspect so bad i dont even wanna write about it; once you end up in hospital here theres no visiting hours whatsoever, youre likely to end alone and without your family having a chance to bury you.

Rough, man. Crazy times. I really hope this crisis puts things in perspective for people. All our squabbles are a bullshit waste of time. Life is too damn short to spend any time fighting.

Stop being so ageist, I'm Old and Stupid!....

On a serious note, me and her indoors or should it be ... her indoors and I... have been in lock down since last Tuesday.
She has COPD but i gotta go out for essentials today and get prescriptions and food.
The childer dropped off Mothers Day stuff at the door on Sunday.
No contact with anyone.
Ill be touching as little as possible, I'll bring iso alcohol to wash my hands before getting back into the car.
At least we can go out to back garden for a change of scenery or we'll both go stir crazy.
All the Whiskey has been drank, there's a barrack buster of gin and 5 bottles of champagne and for emergency only a bottle of Poteen.
Stay safe guys and girls and think positive. ;)

I'm too tired to hustle.......... Farming, alcohol production (viticulture) is still considered essential, so I'm here. 80% got cut to no one's surprise. Modern tech is saving the big farms too; automation ===were not running out of food any time soon.

Yeah, on lockdown with six deaths in PA so far. Brace yourself, this is just the beginning in the USA, it will be a reset for our economy.

I've got about 40 beers and two-thirds of a cheap box of wine. I should have persuaded the wife weeks ago that we need some scotch in the house (for emergencies, of course), but at this point I'm not driving all the way into the nearest small town just to be disappointed in their shitty, bottom-shelf selection. Damn my whisky-snobbery!

At least the VapCap will ensure that our supply of bud lasts through the ordeal! (Still can't believe the efficiency and effectiveness of that little thing.)

I was out on a supply run just now, limited amount of people in the shop had us cueing up outside. Everybody, be nice to your super workers, its a f***ed up to have to be in public all day and and a little gratitude doesnt cost anything. I got everything i was after except for decent bread, but meat and vegg was fully stocked. Wife is washing the packaging of the food right now, thats how paranoid were getting.

Also thx to PSU for letting us Covid-squat his thread.
