A friend of my father's taught us how to make what he called a Palestinian rock sling when my brother and I were teens. The campaign of destruction that followed was unbound. Nothing was safe, including myself. Like the young vandal I was I foolishly took aim at an on coming line of train cars. Wammo! I gleefully nailed one on the first throw, just to nearly shit my pants when I saw the golf ball sized rock, which then looked like a boulder, coming back towards me nearly missing my head.

I killed a bird in my garage when I was younger with one. I layed my weapon down after that day vowing to never kill again.

Gee, it is a shame we won't get to see more of that visionary, Nina Turner. Maybe you can write her in if you ever make it into a polling place.
