Does CBD prevent Coronavirus

Damn, I was kinda putting all my eggs in this basket. Maybe they're not smoking enough?
Considering that the government has been suppressing ANY and ALL research on MJ, it seems a bit early, if not convenient for those who like the War on Drugs, to have such a concise conclusion that "THC suppresses immunity to COVID-19".

Admittedly, High Times is not an ubiased source but here is a more balanced view on the subject, IMO.

Scientific research is proving more and more medical uses for cannabis. Experts cite medical marijuana as an effective treatment to use in conjunction with other medications, often to decrease their side effects. For example, people with epilepsy, cancer and HIV frequently use cannabis. Furthermore, many people choose to smoke weed instead of drink alcohol when they’re sick. But does cannabis affect your immune system? Here’s what we know so far.

To summarize: Some studies show it helps, some show it does not help immunity.

Yeah I find immune suppression a bit far fetched but cannabis has anti inflammatory properties and that's bad if you have corona. They are warning to only use Tylenol and stay away from NSAIDs and steroids if you get corona.

I always do what my doctor says when I'm ill.

Im so mad right now....

I have been looking forward to smoking since Dec 22. I have to pass a drug screen test, and after testing positive in Feb, I went and took one again today.... Fucking positive still.

Such bullshit, I was really looking forward to lighting up. But maybe with this virus running around it is for the best, but still... this sucks.

Fever slows the virus reproduction so I wouldn't even use Tylenol until the fever got over 103, but that's just my opinion.

Any chance it was a bogus result? Aren't there different types of tests? I mean, some are outrageously sensitive. Like the pesticide tests that test way down to fractions of a part per billion.

When health advisories come out on the subject, I'll follow them.

I'm staying home except for a weekly trip to the grocery store and to buy gas for the mower. Because that's what the health experts recommend and it makes sense. Other people have a different threshold before they take action. I don't know enough to say one way or the other.

Are you staying home like they recommend?

I don't know, it was a piss test at the hospital lab, this is the first time I have ever had to take one, because I stupidly admitted to smoking weed, since it is legal in our state now.

I like to keep a nice gloss going all day, so it is not too surprising, but it does suck. I will just have to suck it up and hope for the best in a couple weeks. I am just floored, I always thought it took 30 days to get clear results.

Oh I'm taking this very serious and not going out unless necessary, I'm over 60 with health problems.

While im quite sure my level of consumption will protect me from anything short of a gunshot wound, Ive also decided to keep my blood alcohol level above 62.5%. Im basically a walking bottle of hand sanitizer. Want a squirt?

Study up, never volunteer information to the man, not even if its your employer. Though I have to admit, I'd be worried even more if I lied and they could fire me if they caught me out. Maybe you did the right thing by telling them the truth, but still, words of wisdom,

Nah, I don't want to explain to my wife how I came into contact with the STDs.

I know better, it was stupid, I told my doctor and it is an insurance thing. Once I test negative I will be fine..... I should just go back to drinking again, but I got used to not having hangovers.

It wasn't stupid. One has to make decisions sometimes without time to consider them. Hindsight is always 20:20.

Hey guys, if you need hand sanitizer there's an online vendor selling CBD infused hand sanitizer, it seems a little pricey but better than nothing if you need some.

Oddly enough it's from a vape shop lol, I got an email for it yesterday
