I kinda got the general impression he's in the early stages of coronavirus himself, he seemed scared stiff and never went off the poorly written and poorly read speech. He's rattled and in way over his head, he doesn't have a clue as to what is going on, or how to deal with it and its painfully obvious. The fact that the only thing he cares about is his reelection and he's increasingly blind to all other considerations is frightening. He is largely responsible for this crises and most people know or suspect it, it didn't need to be nearly this bad this quickly, the response has been another Donald disaster. The oversight hearings into this fiasco will be entertaining and outrageous, provided I live long enough to see them.

Every state in the union should immediately pass mail in voting.

Why they would barely have time to figure out how to cheat the new system and suppress the US postal service. I think by the time november rolls around Donald is gonna have trouble in some parts of Dixie, the plague hasn't hit the nose pickers and shit kickers yet and when it does it will go through em like shit through a goose. Many of em drink, smoke and live like pigs, ever seen the types that go to Trump rallies? Half are drunk.

I hope we get mail in voting. I'm calling our Democrat governor's office today. I met him once when he was running, right here in my little town.
But I will go vote in person with a mask if necessary to change this pathetic federal government.
Trump's aging base will take a hit, he should start thinking about that. Dumb bastard.

He is, the elderly are the most concerned, many are in the US senate and they are as pissed as is any older vulnerable person, they will want answers and so will the public. I'm not sure it's dawned on Donald how big a shit show the congressional oversight hearings are gonna be on this red hot issue, the senate won't be on side with him this time and over this issue. Older voters vote and many are Trump supporters and a few are doing a double take on Donald and his bullshit right now, or soon will be. Donald and the GOP senate are toast in November, they own Donald after the impeachment fiasco and he might even kill a few of them as thanks... You could might be able to say that, some old GOP senators committed suicide by Trump.

Our governor's office has informed me that act 77 passed in Pa last November and we now have mail in voting.
Fortunately, we have a Democrat governor who thinks ahead.
I'm going on line to test out the system for the April 28 primary here. You have to have apply by April 21.

Then do everything you can to make sure those who will vote against Trump get to apply etc. Get out the vote and help the older folks vote, they will really want to this year, if they make it, I predict enthusiasm (and fear) will be high among seniors this november and not many will be voting for Donald, they will go down the left side of the ballot and check the blue names from president to dog catcher, clean sweep top to bottom for many.
Voter turnout will be high this year, if the primaries are a guide, states run elections, not the federal government and if just the red states obeyed Donald and cancelled elections (suicide for them) then when the terms of their members of congress expire they would not be replaced in the new congress, more democratic votes while the red states reel in internal confusion and strife. America had elections during the civil war, and they will have them in november, nobody would be dumb enough to obey such and order, not even Mississippi and that's saying something.

Mnuchin had just spent an hour huddling with Senate Republicans as President Donald Trump tried to sell wary GOP lawmakers on his plan to prevent an economic collapse from the coronavirus pandemic.
Just hours before, Trump had taken his latest shot at Pelosi in a morning tweet. But that didn’t deter the speaker, who huddled with Mnuchin for a 30-minute meeting in her office. The two also chatted on the phone twice on Wednesday, and Pelosi is now on the verge of pushing through a massive stimulus bill that could earn GOP support, as well as Trump’s signature.
For any other leader, the rapid turnaround on the recovery plan would be a herculean feat at best. But for Pelosi, successfully negotiating a multi-billion-dollar economic package with a hostile and often antagonistic Trump administration was just another day in the speaker’s suite.
It’s also a reminder that for all Trump’s omnipresence on Twitter and cable TV, Pelosi remains the dominant figure on Capitol Hill when it comes time to actually getting something accomplished.
“She understands what has to be done, and will do so in a very limited time frame and scope while trying to be inclusive with a very diverse caucus that also has a lot of their own ideas on how to solve the problem,” said Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.). “While there can be some consternation going forward, at the end of the day, she has the trust of the caucus.”
“It feels like we have someone who is competent, who is gathering folks around to come up with clear thoughts on how to move forward in a time of crisis,” added Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.).
Yet the coronavirus crisis is unlike anything Washington has faced in a century — a pandemic with no cure that has sent financial markets into a tailspin and is rapidly spreading throughout the country, sickening more than 1,000 Americans and killing 32 in the U.S. so far.
