UV options for LED? Would it even help?

I agree. We have kicked it around but the liability lol. I made a pretty mean UVB t-5 bulb that got nixed due to the CMs non compete. If I stayed under it more than 10 mins I felt stings on my arms. It peaked at 280 nm............
Have you researched various UV types and how they affect terpenes, Steven?

They are almost as important as THC levels. Temps above 80 Fahrenheit begin to deteriorate terps.

15% more THC with UV? LMAO, that is bullshit right there. It's less then 5% more.

If there was a noticeable difference I'd still be using my CMH lights with Phillips bulbs 3100k and 4200k.......The CMH's sit in my basement pantry, kinda dusty.
How much you want for that useless piece of junk

I just don't buy into UV........it destroys more terpenes then ups the thc levels....not to mention its bad for eyes and skin

At my monthly Flat Earth Society meeting I learned that LEDs are a Chinese hoax.
So, what UV light did you use? I'm leaning towards Reptisun T5HO 22" fluorescent reptile bulb, mostly because I've got the fixtures. Would this be in a range to have some effect? I'm running a 4'x8', I could move them around since the run time is short.

Its the finished product of that. I will check with @robincnn to see when they will be listed but should be within the next month.
This is what you're calling UV supplementation?

Do you plan on doing like Cutter and using 285-310 for some real deal UV?

Hlg has a 30 watt 24" UV strip with 365nm and 380nm diodes. Of course it's just UVA but it's a true 100% UV supplement. What's the UVB light you're talking about?

Impossible to navigate to through their website it seems to me. You have to have the URL bookmarked

Thanks, Hlg is about the same. There's no option I could find to get the UV bar from their site. I had to back out and select "all products" from the search result

If I remember right it was 15% increase in THC.
Not lately, all my current strains are 25% + already, I ran it 4 hrs a day.
If you don't mind me asking what is your UV light set up like?
I'm trying to decide if I should run more UVB, UVA, or near UV lights.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

End of this month.
These come with the driver inside the new shiney housing :) Similar spec to strip as far as spectrum goes. Switching led brands but wavelengths are pretty much the same. We aren't ruling out a UV-B option but it is again costly and extra costly if we include glass.
So you don't have any UVB coming out? How short of wavelength do you go? I ordered some UVB from another company, but they don't have the chips and it will be cutting it close as to if i will have them in time, might need to look elsewhere :wall:
