Spider farmer sf4000 **HELP NEEDED**

Does anyone have experience with this light?

I would like to know how hot it actually gets in a 4x4 tent.
I will be running a 6" inline fan with 440CFM and a carbon filter. my ambient temperature outside of tent is 68F, does anyone know what temps I can expect to see inside of my tent?
I'm currently running a 1000w HPS in an air cooled hood and the temps get up to around 84-87F.

Thank you!

Good to hear, thank you for your wisdom!
and you seem to have some concerns about the light itself?
Your SF light is not going to be on the same level as that 1000w HPS, closer to a 800w. 1000w hps is a little bit overkill for a 4x4 imo, and that SF light will still rock that space. While you might see a slight impact on your yield, itll make a much bigger impact on the heat and your electric bill.
They use proven diodes and drivers, its just an unproven company without much of a track record in a price range of much more known brands. Thats mainly why youll see people saying to get something else around here. I believe you will be very happy with that light overall.

I'm prepared to take a slight hit yield wise as long as I can get my temps and hydro bill down. Thanks again Fragile!

Unfortunately you have two choices here.

1) run the experiment yourself: same clone, same feed, same times, different lights.

2) decide to which Internet stranger you will trust your grow.
Haha, yes I realize I will most likely get different answers, and I will be running the experiment myself as the new lights arrive tuesday, but I was hoping somebody that converted from HPS to quantum boards would share their experience on the transition.

You're probably going to be OK. My grow space has similar environmental conditions and power density and runs around 82-84 degF when the ambient is below 70. If the ambient starts to climb, so does the room.

Would love to see the results, and that test in action.
I have been considering giving strips a shot, and have only ever used cob's. For some reason i believe my cobs make bigger buds than strips or boards, but i have no basis for that belief

I’m running 2 sf2ks in a 4x4x7 similar outside temp air 60-70( unheated bedroom) with my fan running and it’s warm outside it’ll touch 85 but normally with both running around 80
How are you running 80-85 with those lights?!
my sf4000 runs super hot, and my 4x8 is getting up into the 90s even when I’m exhausting hot air out, with my 8” ac infinity inline fan. What are you guys doing to lower temps and fight off the heat? I don’t want to use an AC in the winter
