I've already been reading a bunch. The info on growing is really great! I want to grow my own this year, but I have zero clues as to how. Plus, I'm hoping to make some stoner friends

Read Read Read, I havnt grown for many a year but have been building a little growspace this past few weeks. I have it all set up now and running. Its a great feeling. Keep it simple is my advice, Mine has dragged on and on while I agonise over every little decision. But thats it now. Done. I look forward to the next few months. My first time doing hydro so fingers crossed!!

What do you need to set up? Not just soil and a seed?

Depends where you are growing, If you have the climate and can grow outdoors all youll need is a seed, Indoors and it gets scary what folk will tell you need, I have lights, fans, and my hydro setup. then the nutrient, but you can start with very little, and just build on it as you go. Years ago I used to use flourescent bulbs and tomato feed!!

Depends on whether you are indoor; you will need light. You will also need some nutrients. And fans. The list never stops once you get started.

What do you need to set up? Not just soil and a seed?

yes and no. Dropping a seed in some soil, putting it by a window for some sun, and watering it when the pot is dry will grow something. Not much and you wont get much if any bud from it.
Medium, nutrients, genetics, environment, light, water quality, and training all play large roles in your final yield.
Growing good cannabis is very much a "get out of it what you put into it" situation. It takes some effort if you want good results.

Hello new here I’m estimating my seed which was found in medical marijuana container is 1/2” deep in soft potting soil. Should I have light on to bring it up or let it go? Inside in small pot with some cover
