That’s a skunk no.1 cross?
That’s skunk no.1 in my avatar grew some outdoors in dwc lol. (Along with some other strains) Around this time last year so it flowered as soon as it was mature and yielded about 2.5 ounces off memory with next to no veg time! Awesome outdoor strain with even better bag appeal but man did she stink!!!

you can have too much light. Also if the conditions (temp and humidity etc) aren’t right not only are you wasting co2 but it can cause more problems. If your new to growing ditch the co2 until you’ve got a few grows under your belt. There’s plenty enough in the atmosphere as long as your exchanging the air inside the grow area enough.
Got everything dialled in. I’m not new to growing, just rusty. Haven’t done co2 before though. A dry run with 1 600hps (no co2) was 45-55rh and 29-31c. Optimal conditions, without the need of a/c, dehumidifiers (yet) but I have them on hand if conditions fluctuate. Things will change with plants and 480w of led, I am sure.
All my readings suggest a near perfect environment.

you don’t need more light in that space even running co2. Also without co2 those temps are too high for hps (led they’d be almost bang on) because of the ir they produce. Those temps with co2 seem right (not sure on rh but). @OzyM8 would know more, he runs co2 and is all over vpd.

I’ve only run co2 once and for me it wasn’t worth the extra effort and cost.

29-31C and 45-55rh is not optimal regardless of running Co2 or not. If not running co2 you’d want temps really no greater than 27-28C and rh around mid to highish 60’s at those temps.
At 29-31C you’d want rh in the 70-75 range. And they’d be better conditions for running co2.
Obviously this is dependent on your canopy leaf surface temperature, and growth stage.

What should my targets be @OzyM8?

4x4 tent with a cool tube 600hps, 2 240w 3500k cob’s, sealed co2 at 1000+ppm while lights on, purged continuously while lights off.

Perfect for co2.
Not sure about the led side of things but with hids you really want a minimum of 600w hps/mh.
Are you going to be using a co2 generator or co2 bottle??
Just that the generators add a lot of heat and humidity.....

well please explain how many growers (myself included) have got great results running only hps lights for both veg and flower

the best light imo for a beginner is a 600w magnetic hps off eBay and a Decent quality bulb (GE or Phillips, I prefer the lucagrow bulbs myself)
I.used to get us results of a 400w son-t same thing just smaller light hey ...
Back in the 90s there was no such thing as mh for growing
Or am I wrong

Loved the good old original skunk back in the day..
Yea its skunk no.1 cross master kush an hindu kush.. Real name is money maker but its a stupid name so i call it MK/SKNK.
An no i didn buy it cause i thought it was gunna make me thousands of dollas i was tight on money wen gettin everything together an came across these an they were cheap an the genetics is why i ended up buyin them..
They do got a nice smell but the green crack is out doing it for the smell an trichs so far.
Howd ya manage dwc outdoors in a greenhouse or somthing?

If you want my opinion Luke (too bad if you don’t, your gonna get it haha)
Your pretty much spot on, you could lift your humidity a little more and slowly reduce it as your buds get bigger/more dense.
I’ve run this exact temp/humidity throughout most of flower with 1250ppm of co2 and plants loved it!
Just take note of how much they drink,
I found this to be a key indication for temp and humidity.
They should drink more than if you weren’t dosing co2 but if their drinking too fast then drop temp or up humidity a little or both before the plant stops drinking at all lol.

Best I give you some pointers in the right direction, there’s way to much to explain in a post m8.

Get yourself on of these ir temp guns from Bunnings to measure LST (leaf surface temperature) you’ll also need a digital temp and rh meter.

Have a read of these articles

Then study up on VPD (vapour pressure deficit.) there’s also a link to get a VPD chart, and you can use the learnings from these articles to get going.

I’m on and off grid until early next week, and can give you some more practical info then.

Just bear in mind if you go down this path you’ll need some way of controlling your growing environment for best results without burning cash on co2.

I’ve grown money maker! Frooosty!
Was a freebie, made a couple of simple fuckups when growing it so I put that down to why it didn’t yield much?

Simple dwc outside with an air pump. Had them in an old empty above ground pool to hide them a little lol. Days were getting cooler so I was lucky to not get root rot but growth was explosive!

pulled just over a pound from 10 plants from seed to harvest in roughly 2.5 months.
