If you just want to run a couple buckets it might be worth it to take a chance on something like this.
Itll be big enough for a couple buckets. Make sure to get the two year protection plan. Its cheap china stuff and not much known experience with them around here yet.
If you are liking it and want something with some upgrade potential into a full system, the active aqua 1/10hp chiller is enough for most home growers.

keep the air pump outside grow area and have a small pc fan blowing on the inlet of air pump, works a treat youl be surprised!!saved hundreds of pounds buying a chiller lol.but everyones grow space and temps are different but worth a try.

Think i knocked the temps down 3-4 degrees doing this, which worked out perfect for me during summertime.Saved hundreds of pounds on chiller, which i was prepaired to pay but someone else shared this info and it works so all good.Obviously dont need to do this in winter for me anyway but great for summertime.

Does anybody know a good quality chiller for a reasonable price?
I've got a very cheap alternative, that always keeps my 60 gallon RDWC at 68, regardless of the time of year.

Take a look at my thread...

In the Winter, when I have my home heater on (heat I don't want blowing from my vent to my reservoir water), I just use a fan to bring in air from another room. I keep my house around 68 in the Winter, so that's the temperature of the air blowing on the water, as opposed to 60 degree air, from the ac, in the summer. Both ways keep my temps between 67 and 69!

I use a small PC fan to cool my water pump, and I have my tent exhaust fan blowing on my 70lpm commercial air pump, to keep that cool as well.
