Four. But only take the growth in the middle. Do not cut or damage the two nodes on either side of it. They are your new two tops.Pinch it off. Closes the wound. Less stress and less moisture loss. And a few more good reasons. Just wash you hands first.

Just make a plan and stick to it. Just remember branches only grow at the same length when they are perpendicular on the stalk. If they are offset the top will always outgrow the lower.Good luck. Peace all.

Thanks all for your advice this is a clone I was using just to learn what should or shouldn’t be done. MICHI-CAN I will research the methods you mention can you expand on your setup. In the first picture what is the size of your grow tent and how many plants? Sorry for basic questions new at this. Thanks again everyone.

Hey there seems to be people in here and since my topic has to do with the thread here is my situation I don’t know whether to top or fim seeds are from packs two different so I am hunting a mother from both! So the plants are a month and a few days old and now have nodes I don’t count true leaves as a node so in all my plants aren’t all like the one in the picture most have squatter features well there are pics so check em out but the bigger ones have about this many nodes. Where should I cut if topping or if I should fim or otherwise any help would be helpful as I am going to do something today at some point after work! Thanks

in order the second pic is what I’m speaking on the rest are just a show of what I got going on
