Was wondering what you guys used for large scale growing on air pumps. I’ve got grow rooms that I’m setting up that will be 50 buckets and 100 bucket rooms.

for stones to be reliable you need at least 15-20 liters per minute per site.
Thats over 13000gph worth of air just for the 50 site

Yeah the room I set up for the 50 site has 4 air pumps that equal 14,264 gph. I was just trying to see if I could buy a large air compressor to run the whole room instead of buying so many pumps

Yeah I’m not sure how I’ll do the rest of the rooms. I’ve got one 50 site and one 100 site done. I’m growing in an old apartment complex I’ve got 21 of the 50 bucket rooms and 20 of the 100 bucket rooms. I’m just trying to here all the options before I go the route I’ve did the first two.

Thats like... a couple of these total.. or a big like 1800cfm 400hp compressor.. which youll pay 6 figures for.

Havent seen too many large hydro setups around here and im not an expert in this by any means, just familiar with the math and some of that type of equipment. Youd be looking at rotary screw compressors.
Air stones do not scale well at all imo. Unless my math is way off it just looks like itd cost you nearly 100k to supply all of them with compressors.
Are you also chilling each setup?

wow, that sounds daunting. are you dead set on dwc? it'd be a nightmare to worry about pH, EC, root rot etc in 150 stand alone buckets.
