Whats wrong with this one

I am new, I'm not sure what's wrong with this one. I think it has to do with my watering . I'm not sure if it's under or over watered . I never let runoff because I was worried about drowning the roots. But I'm starting to think I'm not giving her enough water

Do yourself a favor and use a hand sprayer to water them when they are around this size. You can spray the plants until your finger gets numb; nearly impossible to overwater this way. Try to keep the soil as moist as a wrung out sponge all the time. Another ez way to water without drowning them is to put a tray or something underneath and water from the bottom.

The problem is the stretch. It needs more light, bring it closer to your light source.

Pop a hole in the bottom of that cup. At that stage do not water till runoff, roots are not developed enough yet. I'd add half a cup of water twice a week.

That's what I've been using . Just not enough of it lol. Will be changing up things in the next few days for watering .

Oh my bad didn’t mean to steer you in the wrong direction. I’ve always just watered so the water kinda floods the top and slowly drains out of the bottom it’s worked for me this long. Maybe that’s why I always feel like growth is slower in the beginnings for me.

What is your pH when watering? How often are you watering and I dont recommend watering to the point of run off yet. Plants to young and very easily overwatered. At this stage I would give them a half cup every second day and make sure you give them time to get dry.

I think I am being too cautious. I have not let watered nearly enough to have a little run off. After extensive reading I've come to conclusion that I am to worried about killing them . So from what I was told and read . About a half cup per plant every 2 days should work .

I appreciate any advice . I grew one time like 8 years ago but the plants were already on veg when I got them maybe 1 foot tall. This was also a outside grow.

Recently I decided I want to do this and I want to learn the right way. So thank you, any and all input helps me alot

I'm waiting for my ph kit. I'm using filtered purified water.

Guess some ph up and down and a tester is in order

So I finally got my gh ph kit. Holy hell was my ph low . Like 4.5_5.0. No wonder they arent super happy .

The seaweed extract and molases dropped the ph of my water of way farther down than I thought

5.0 is serviceable, not ideal, but you can grow a happy plant with that. I recommend using purified drinking water. Chances are you're just overdoing it with the water and noots! I used to love my plants to death and see the same thing. Just give it a little water in the seedling stage, like 1/8 a water bottle a day, maybe not even that. you gotta make sure the molasses and seaweed is pre diluted or else you can get root rot, nutrient burn, damping off, and a whole lot of bad shit. Just let her grow, don't overdo it and all will be fine, I did all this and look at my girl (25 days)

Yeah mine arent as spry as yours sadly . And they are mad right now because I'm changing the light cycle . Not time per say. They ate staying 18/6 but I have to flip the time around for when they sleep .

Not sure what it is. I give them half a cup if water every 2 days but recently they have been dry everyday. Wondering if transplant time might be in order . They are in small planter cups as you can see. Smaller than a solo

My nute mix is 5ml seaweed extract and 1 tbsp of organic of molasses per gallon of filtered water

those plants are just severly overwatered and may not be getting enough drainage! What you gotta do is immediatley transplant them into a larger pot with dry soil (theyre big enough at this point) half a cup is too much at that size id say, get them in some dry soil or they're gonna be dead... once you get them in there just let them sit without water until they start to perk up! hope this helps...

Yeah that will have to be tomorrow . I'm in the process of changing their sleep time and I dont want to over stress them and kill them that way.

I don't understand how they are being over watered because I'm letting the soil dry out to where over a inch of top soil is dry and the pots are light.

When I water them , a little water runs off like suggested by people on here .

Anyways, I will transplant them tomorrow. I'm worried about stressing them too much .

After reading around, maybe giving them seaweed extract right now is too much nutrient for them because they are already in fox farm ocean blend

In soil if that’s what your medium is you need a pH of 6.0-7.0 or you will lock nutrients out which is what I though when you started the thread. 5.0 for soil will fuck your plant up.
