All of the affordable tent brands are pretty similar, not the best zippers but get the job done. I’ve used Vivo sun and opulent systems on the affordable end, I prefer opulent and if you have some extra money Gorilla Grow tents are pretty good as well

Gorilla is the best, altho I really like the Zazzy. Its thick, no light leaks, viewing window is kinda small tho, strong frame

HELLA strong zipper

So far I've only went with Gorilla and have to say they were the first to offer the heavy duty 1680D and all metal frames (to my knowledge) and have remained the king of the hill it would seem. So if you aren't focusing on cheap vs quality then Gorilla is a no brainer IMO. I've yet to see anyone stating they found a brand/tent that was 'better' that Gorilla - just 'cheaper' it seems.

I will say there does appear to be a slew of impersonators coming out now like the ones above offering metal/1680d options. If the specs match then it comes down to quality control and that there's nothing off in their supply chain as far as weird off-gassing or other issues related to the materials used themselves. Perhaps worth a gamble these days - but when I was in the market for a heavy duty 'one time purchase' then there wasn't much of a market to choose from.

I bought a 4x4 on ebay for $81. 1680D canvas, zippers seem really solid so far. no viewing window. no complaints here. i had an HTG supply tent and it ripped when setting it up and opening the vents.

I use I high octane tent it has zero light leak and cost about the same as a gorilla tent. The only down fall with it is that it can’t extend for me.

I've always bought the cheapest tents I can find in the size I'm looking for. They're fine, at least one is a vivosun, it's fine. Paying more than you have to for a tent is just throwing money down the drain.

Haha, thats dumb. Strong zippers and lightproof matter if u want quality bud. Do you also recommend blurple lighting?

Please, please, explain to us all how the quality of the zipper effects my flowers. No significant light leaks into any of them, never had any issues related to light leaks, have checked them all and they seem totally pitch black inside when they should be.

Because I'm pretty sure my girls have no idea what the brand name tag on the outside of their tents says.

I've used tents that didn't last 2 grows, the main zipper was frayed to hell......also had tents with lots of pinholes in them/
I've seen tents without a viewing window, some tents have poles that can hold some weight.
There are differences that matter a lot, to me and others.

The very thickness and density of the material used even helps.
