Would you harvest?

Been doing lots of digging trying to find when I should harvest my plants,it looks like checking trichomes is my best bet to find out when to harvest but I’ve also seen people say this isn’t a “deciding factor” and after growing for a while you’ll eventually just “know when to harvest from a combination of factors”
Being that I don’t want to wait to long or harvest too early and this is my first ever grow so I have no idea, just looking for some friendly advice and other opinions

plant is moving into week 9 now
Been flushing for about 17 days now(I started early since it’s my first grow and I didn’t know any better)

today is Monday,judging from the terrible pictures I took I was thinking of harvesting(switching to 48 hours of darkness) probably Wednesday?

Idk how long it takes these heads to turn amber so I don’t want to go to bed one night and wake up to mostly amber heads in the morning if I waited too long(I’m joking I doubt it’s that quiclk)

They need a bit longer judging from the pic. It's kinda blurry though. And don't go by trichs on sugar leaves, they are misleading. If you're checking trichs, you want to check the buds. I mainly go by how the plant looks anymore.

Well frankly you started flushing WAAAAY to early and starved that plant. Its still got lots of white stigma all over which means atleast until it started starving it was trying to grow fresh new buds. At this point it still needs another 3ish weeks or more from the looks of it.

Padawan is correct about checking bud trichomes not leaves.

Too bad you starved your plant just when the buds needed to feed to swell up. You still have weeks to go. Flushing is unnecessary. Don't make the same mistake on your next grow.

Thanks for the tip! It’s a bit difficult to see with clip on phone microscope I got(to take pictures) because I have to get so close basically touching the hud to see but much easier to see on the bud with the loupe I got(but no photos)

Ive read that if I’m using liquid nutrients in soil I should flush for roughly 6-10 days before harvest(which obviously I started way to early) but you’re saying I don’t have to flush at all?

I dont think I’ll go back to nutes now cause I don’t see the point for a week or two and I’ll just call this grow for what it.but I do my best in future grows

hope those pics help a bit,it seems like they get blurry after upload although maybe it’s my phone. First is a top and the following two are pics I tried to get from the bud, last is a pic from my other plant which I think is a different strain and it’s been visibley behind plant 1 the whole grow(only maybe a week)
