Ok, switching topics. What percent of the democrat party do you think is too homophobic to vote for Pete? I'm thinking it is less than 1%, but that is a guess and I'm curious what your opinion is?

I doubt blacks would vote a gay in, thats more then 1% of the DEM population alone. Then you have rednecks in the south, a gay vote ain't happenin. I'd say at least 10% of the dems won't vote for a gay candidate. It might be greater then 10%. New Hampshire and Iowa are over 90% white, so this lead Sanders has is temporary.

This Democratic primary in 2020 could be the most critical in US history. Nominate the wrong candidate and 4 more yrs of lawlessness, massive corruption and non stop propaganda/ lies.

Hmm, maybe I'll have to rethink my prediction then. I would have guessed 10% of independents and 20% of republicans not supporting a gay candidate, but dems being a very small percent.

I hate to admit it, but it looks like the door might be opening a bit for Bloomberg to steal this thing at the convention. People think Bloomberg can beat Trump, and I think I agree with that outlook

that whole stop and frisk thing of his was sooooo racist though. i was turned off by that. and i would have loved to have seen him try that crap on the upper east or west side. he'd be sued by every lawyer in Manhattan.

but if he wins, i'll vote for him. i'd love to see him pick Buttgieg as his VP early on. that would pick up some xtra voters.

If Biden bites the dust, they'll all go to Bernie. If you give the south a gay man or woman they'll vote for Trump.

So in the south there are only two options: Biden and Bernie. It WILL BE one or the other.

You are kind of missing the point with due respect. The chance of Biden dropping out before Super Tuesday is finer than frog hair (and you say I don't know the South - which is correct). They will vote for Biden. Not enough to keep his candidacy viable but enough to keep Bernie from reaching a majority of delegates. The next time they get to vote - in the general - the clever plan that the Democrats rigged up - that of most Democrats preferring not Bernie, will have been sprung and Bernie won't be the Democratic candidate.

Yeah, it was ugly. And his contrition was less than complete. I am not black. I am very white. So I can't really say how POC will take it but I have suspicions that they will be more forgiving of stop and frisk than they will be of "execute the Central Park Five".
