I would grow the Blue Dream and throw the rest away. I imagine he didnt name them because that's what they probably are, no name bag seed from what I'm sure was 'seeds from a killer bag he smoked in 09". Because why would he only name 1 bag of seeds and not the others? Me personally I've learned to steer clear of unknown strains and bag seed.
Unless you know for a fact he bought those seeds from a reputable seed distributor and just didnt label them for whatever reason.
I would even go as far to say that the blue dream is probably from a Hermie female plant that produced seeds. Someone sold him a bag of blue Dream bud and it had seeds in it. I could be wrong but I'd be leery.

Once you factor in how much you spend on these guys to properly grow weed. You tend to want to invest your money with a reputable seed dealer with good genetics instead of a mystery bag seed that has a good chance of going hermie on you or be male. like money spent on electricity, soil, nutes, wear and tear on your equipment, 2 or 3 months of your time down the drain just to find out their males or it turns hermie. Been there and it sucks. You can buy good seeds online for under $50 for 5 feminized seeds with known good genetics. Hell you'll spend well over 50 on your electric bill alone trying to find out what exactly your growing.
It's just not worth it in my opinion, but Hey, to each his own!

How much space do you plan on using. I say grow more seeds. As much as you can. Chuck the males and any hermies. I wouldn't worry about a late nanner tho. You might have something you'll like. And have bud that you didn't. If just growing 1 plant at a time, yea you might want to get fems from a site.

I have a small collection of seeds from the imports here. It's all og kush variants. I want to run those one day. But I'm doing a big pollen chuck, so the random seeds will have to wait.

To each their own. But blue dream was the least favorite of what I grew for 2019.

Looks like a good start to me, great video journal. Like Jdog said, you might be wasting your money on a male/hermie. Stable genetics are the key to a good crop. It could turn out to be killer weed also, who knows. Either way, its going to be a good learning experience. Do you have a way to keep a mother or are you going to bud it out and go onto other seeds?

Blue dream crops are a bitch to machine trim. The spacing of the bud makes you have to break them down more or it leaves a lot of stem that slows the trimmer down. I have a bud trimmer, not a wood chipper. Its the same for every client I have that grows blue dream. The most popular strains are commercial grade heavy producers. Bigger harvests spread farther into the markets.

If you’re not worried about wasting a lil time an feeding a few males for a month or so, itd probably be a fun way to find some killer genetics. In my opinion old heads tend to get dumb gas grown on mediocre levels, or in other words. Really awesome pot, grown to please an old head. There’s potential in there.

Space wise I'm pretty maxed out. I sprouted the seed just to see if it would sprout considering the age. I know genetics are really important and helpful to a skilled grower who is trying to be as efficient as possible but I'm neither a skilled grower and or set up to grow more than a few plants
at a time. If the plants don't pan out I'm not gonna lose sleep over it. I live in a legal weed state so access to quality product is a short walk away for me if I need it. Currently my daily smoke consists of a nice summer time sativa strain and a blackberry indica. To me their names don't really mean much other than that they have names. The important thing to me is I grew them from seedlings in my yard alongside my garden and I know start to finish what went into them. They were my 2nd grow outdoors and I was much much happier with the way they turned out than my first ones. I still have nuggets from my previous outdoor plants that I give to those that can't afford to go and buy even cheap legal weed from the store. It might not be the highest quality but it still brings a smile to those that receive it. Growing up I never had much money so i'd mooch what I could off of friends when it came to weed so now that I can I like being able to offer something back to people in return.

I could keep a mother but clones aren't something i've done before. Well guess that's not true, i rooted a cutting from a outdoor plant in water just like a person would do any other houseplant last summer but left on vacation only to return to a dry glass, shrivelled roots and a dead plant.
